Chosen Farrier services was started by 2 young well educated hardworking farriers JAred Avina and Lucas Tanier affiliated with the AFA (American Farriers Association). JAred has been shoeing for 6.5 years, he attended Arkansas Horseshoeing School and was there for their 12 week program after school he then went and worked as an apprentice for Ritner Goff Pro Horseshoeing out of Watha, NC where he

worked for 2 years shoeing and trimming Hunter Jumper, Barrel, Pleasure, Dressage, Cutting, Reining and many other working and trail horses! Since then he has moved back to his home area of Northwest Ohio! Luke has been shoeing for 2.5 years, he attended school at Hocking College and received his degree in Farrier Science, He then worked as an apprentice for a local farrier in the surrounding area for 1.5 years shoeing and trimming Hunter Jumper, Barrel, Pleasure, Dressage, Cutting, Reining and many other working and trail horses as well!
