Istanbul has launched a brilliant idea to help stray dogs and the environment at the same time. These special vending machines, called “mamamatiks,” give out dog food whenever someone puts plastic bottles in for recycling.

The machines also have water bowls for thirsty pups. All powered by solar energy, the recycled bottles help cover the cost of the food.

It’s a win-win: cleaner streets, happier dogs, and a community coming together.

Let’s hope more cities copy this heartwarming innovation! 💚
