Shadow had her babies on July 17. On my bed at that. She usually greets me when I come home but there was a day that she didn't. I had a migraine so I was going to go upstairs and just lay down in the dark. I turned on the light and saw that she gave birth on my bed. So I made a mad dash to Walmart to buy new sheets and everything and mattress cleaner.

I had planned on keeping them all. Elevating my crazy cat lady status. Having 5 extra mouths to feed are not within my budget so I'm going to have to say goodbye.

All the kittens seem healthy except one where the eye is not open. So I am concerned. We will go to the vet.
