A martingale collar is a special kind of dog collar that was originally designed to keep sighthounds with small heads and thicker necks from backing out of their collars. These collars have gained popularity among owners of other breeds in the recent past with many trainers now recommending them instead of choke chains or buckle collars.
A martingale collar is made with two loops. The larger loop slips onto the dog's neck and a lead is then clipped to the smaller loop. When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the lead pulls the small loop taut, which makes the large loop smaller and tighter on the neck, thus preventing escape.
We're currently offering two different styles of martingale collar. The traditional martingale that slips over your dog’s head, and a martingale with a side release buckle that attaches like a standard collar. [[Perfect for all our husky owners out there.😉 ]]

We help with adoption photos by dressing up rescue dogs and help show off their best features. This is when their personalities really shine through! Typically, a dog with a great quality photo will be adopted within 14 days compared to an average of 43 days when photographed in the shelter.
