Meet the sweetest boy in our barn!🤩

Kong is a beautiful black 10y/o, Percheron gelding standing just shy of 17.3hh. He is broke to ride & drive, & is UTD on everything. Aside from being tall, dark, & handsome, he has the best temperament & personality. He's the type of guy to never complain or tell you no.

Kong is an ideal driving horse for beginners, as he is broke single or double & has been hooked to farm equipment. He is confident in various settings, including roads, towns, & traffic. He could provide confidence to younger horses or offer carriage rides in the city. He would do great for events, too!

Kong is suitable for all riding levels & is currently being ridden by beginners. He has a nice w/t/c & is a tiny bit more whoa than go. He is a trail master, goes anywhere he's pointed, is sure footed, & remains calm in various settings. Kong takes care of his rider & is so dang easy to get along with. He will walk next to semis, stand at a drive-thru window, happily greet people along the way, & doesn't get flustered. Although he's relatively new to ring work, he's eager to learn & please. He stands to mount from many things, will carry a flag, doesn't mind dogs underfoot, or the girls climbing all over him. Kong gives meaning to the term gentle giant & is a barn favorite. He is always up for an adventure & remains well-behaved regardless of how often he is ridden. Kong would be suitable for many things, & is the perfect age to learn & excel in new disciplines. He would love to meet you! 🖤

Fancy is a 13y/o, stout 16hh bay Clydesdale/QH X mare. She lives up to her name with that long mane & tail, perfect amount of chrome, & gorgeous coloring. She is UTD on everything & is currently shod on all 4. (She can go barefoot.) Fancy is broke to ride & drive.

She is broke to drive single or double & is road, traffic, & city safe. If you can hold the lines, you'd have no trouble driving her! Fancy would be great for parties, weddings, parades, holidays, or taking the family for a relaxing ride.

Fancy is well mannered & respectful on the ground. She stands to groom, tack, bathe, bridle, mount, harness/hitch, ties, leads, & loads. She picks up her feet with ease & stands nicely for the farrier. She lives out in a mixed herd & respects fencing. She is not mean or bossy whatsoever. She has a sweet & friendly personality.

Under saddle, she will w/t/c with comfortable gaits. Although she's a tiny bit more whoa, you won't tire out your leg getting her to move. She can be ridden western, english, or ba****ck in a snaffle bit. For being green in the ring, she moves around it nicely & is willing over a jump. Fancy is suitable for all riding levels, including beginners. She is laid back with a sensible mind. On the trails, she's confident & brave. She will go up, down, through, or across anything & rides the same alone or in a group. Not spooky & thinks before reacting. She will walk through town next to traffic & isn't bothered by the chaos around her. She hauls out to new places & hops off the trailer ready to ride. She will pony another horse & isn't fazed if they "ride her bumper."

Fancy is that versatile horse that each family member could enjoy! She could tote the hubby around, give lessons, carriage rides, fox hunt, ride in parades, obstacle courses, etc.. With some finishing, she could easily excel in other disciplines! Fancy has the looks to get you noticed, a huge heart, great mind, & a ton of try!🖤

PLEASE READ THE FULL POST!

▪︎We are looking for individuals who have experience riding and handling horses! English experience is a bonus as we do some jumping/correct leads, etc..

▪︎Reliable transportation is required.

▪︎Must be willing to work with horses of all sizes but mostly draft horses. Some can be 18hh+.

▪︎Must be willing to work. That includes during summer & winter weather. It's not a glamorous or easy job. Duties include riding, exercising horses, cleaning horses, trails, bathing, feeding, cleaning stalls, etc.. It is rewarding to work with the horses & we do many fun things, but there is a lot of work involved.

▪︎We are looking for someone to commit to daylight hours Mon-Fri. (Some weekend work may be an option.)

▪︎Hourly rate depends on experience with the option to board in exchange for work. •Volunteers are always welcome, whether it's helping with farm chores, cleaning horses, or riding if you have experience.

Take a look at this gorgeous, shapey, sweet girl! 🤩

Jewel is an 8y/o beautifully colored bay Percheron X mare standing at a thick 17.2hh. She is barefoot, UTD on everything, & is broke to ride & drive.

Jewel drives single or double & has been hitched to farm machinery. She knows the job & performs it well enough to do commercial carriage rides, be paired with younger horses, do funerals, events, parades, etc.. If you can hold the lines, you should have no trouble driving her! She is city & traffic safe.

Jewel is well mannered & easy to handle on the ground. She stands tied, & to bathe, groom, bridle, tack, harness, & loads well. No stocks needed for trimming. She stands to mount, but on occasion, will take a step off once your rear hits the saddle. Jewel lives out in a mixed herd & respects fences. She is not mareish or bossy. She has a friendly disposition along with a sweet & playful personality.

Under saddle, she will w/t/c, & is a nice mix of whoa & go. Not too lazy or forward. Rides english, western, or ba****ck. She is beginner safe. While she moves around the arena nicely, she's still green to ring work. Jewel is great to take on trails or to haul off property. She will go wherever she's pointed, is sure footed, & rides the same whether she's alone or with others. She will walk beside traffic & semis, stop at the drive-thru window to say hi, stand at the bank window, tie outside the store, & enjoys meeting folks along the way.

Aside from being great to drive & hit the trails, she could ride/drive through parades, go on camping trips, obstacle courses, fox hunts, fun shows, etc.. She could easily go in any other direction with some finishing. This girl has the brains, work ethic, heart, & try to kick butt in other disciplines!

Meet this sweet girl of ours! Although she isn't too flashy, she makes up for it with safety & ternperament. 😍

Reba is a 16 years young, approx. 16.3hh Belgian mare who is broke to ride & drive. She is barefoot & UTD on everything. Reba is a former Amish horse, so she has seen & been exposed a bit of everything. She is a go with the flow, laid back, doesn't complain much type of lady. As long as she gets some good treats & some lovins, she is happy & content. She lives out to pasture but will stall fine. Gets along in a mixed herd of all sizes. She is broke to drive single, double, & has been hooked to farm machinery. Anyone can drive her! No funny business from her. She knows the job & could teach you the ropes. She'd also be great to pair with the young horses just learning & could offer wagon rides into town. Traffic/road safe. Under saddle, she will definitely more whoa than go, bu5 will w/t/c. She's a trail master & will travel anywhere you point her. Into water, up steep hills, over downed trees, rocks, creeks, deep snow, bridges, thick brush, etc.. She's the same whether she's alone, in a group, leading, or getting left behind. Reba is suitable for all riding levels, including beginners. The beer drinking hubby, your timid grandma, crazy hyper kids, etc.. would get along with her just fine! She's super tolerant & is forgiving of mistakes. Although she isn't fancy broke, she will happily plod around the ring if you ask her to. Reba is not spooky or the type that gets nervous or anxious easily. She's never offered any bad or mean behavior such as kicking, biting, bucking, rearing, bolting, etc. She stands to mount, groom, bridle, bathe, tack, harness, for the farrier without stocks, & loads nicely. Can sit all winter & rides the same. She really is just a wonderful mare all around & has a lot left to offer! Reba could do parades, camping trips, trails, wagon rides, some work around the farm, therapy work at w/t, tote kids around, boost confidence, & more! She deserves nothing but endless love & to be doted on! 🤎

Confident beginner & up for riding only because he will move out easy when asked. No bad behavior. Super FANCY mover! Floaty trot! We could see him doing dressage, cross country, a fancy english mount & much more!

Cali- 16y/o, approx. 14.3hh gray QH mare. She came from a lesson/camp program for kids. She's been gaining weight nicely. Very sweet & gentle girl. Good family & beginner's horse.

Dusty Rose- 14y/o, 15.1hh stout red roan QH X mare. She rides & drives. Dusty has been our personal horse & has been used for lessons, trails, camping, family reunions, etc. She is safe for the smallest kids to your grandma! No vices! She is one of a kind! Also drives.

Valentino-5y/o, approx. 17hh black & white Drum gelding. 25% Gypsy Vanner & 75% Clydesdale. He's been started under saddle & is doing great! More whoa than go. Goes on trails, into town, is sure footed, etc.. Very friendly & sweet. (His feathers were trimmed & his mane cut, but they're growing back nicely!)

Sampson- 15y/o, approx. 16.3hh black Percheron gelding. Rides & drives. Great beginner horse for both. Little more whoa than go. Traffic & trail safe.

Casper is a 13y/o gray Percheron X gelding who stands at a VERY stocky, almost 15.1hh. He is about as wide as he is tall, which allows him to carry larger riders & takes up some leg. Casper is currently barefoot, UTD on everything, & is broke to ride & drive. He is broke to drive both single & double. He has driven more double than single & has done some rides in a town setting. When hooked single, he does really well & responds to what you ask of him but does have a little pep. We could absolutely see him doing carriage work single with just a few more practice runs! Casper has great manners & does what every well-behaved horse should do, such as stands to mount, bathe, bridle, tack, harness, lift his feet, loads, etc.. He has a goofy & inquisitive personality that we all adore. There's really nothing we've tried that he has refused to do or put up with. He will carry a flag, pony another horse, walks through smoke, is fine with balloons & bags in his face, dogs on his heels, & more! He even took the girls sled riding! They can crawl all over & under him & he isn't bothered by it. Casper is great out on trails as he goes where he's pointed & doesn't complain. He hauls off property, confident & ready to ride for hours. He will blaze a trail in the woods or walk right into town, strutting his stuff next to traffic. Under saddle, he will wtc & is a good mix of whoa & go. He is athletic & moves easily when asked, so due to that reason only, we'd recommend a confident beginner & up. He isn't too forward, hot, or uncontrollable whatsoever. He has no buck, rear, or bolt. While he isn't fancy broke just yet, he does move around the ring nicely & is happy to go over a jump. We could see him fox hunting, doing lessons, carriage rides, cart classes, trail obstacles, ranch work, & more! He has the smarts, try, & work ethic that would allow him to succeed in other disciplines. Bonus that he's gorgeous & gets you noticed! Casper would love to meet you.🩶

Nash is a 10y/o, 17.2hh stunning black Percheron gelding. He has great manners & a whole lot of gentleness packed into that big sturdy body of his! Nash is barefoot, sound, & UTD on everything. He is broke to ride & drive! We've really enjoyed having him around & working with him has always been a pleasure! His intelligence & willing nature make learning new things a breeze. Nash is easy to handle, respects your space, & has a friendly personality. He gets along nicely in our mixed herd of all sizes. He stands to mount, bathe, groom, bridle, tack or harness, hitch, ties, loads, & does not require stocks for trims. Nash drives single or double & has been hooked to some farm machinery. He drives quiet enough for beginners & we could see him giving carriage rides in a city setting. He would look & behave wonderful for events & parties too! Road/traffic safe. Stands patiently to hook or when asked. Nash has been a trail master & is always up to be hauled out for an adventure. He rides off the same whether he's all alone or in a large group & falls anywhere in the hack line. He will go into the lake, up/down steep terrain, over obstacles, thru ditches or creeks, dogs underfoot, & will blaze his own path thru the woods. He will walk right into town next to heavy traffic & happily stops to greet folks along the way. He is an absolute head turner & will get you noticed not just with his looks but his great behavior as well. He isn't spooky & is a good sport when it comes to all the crazy things we try with our horses! Flags, leafblowers, plastic bags, tarps, bikes, yoga off his back, etc.. he will even walk through fire for you! Nash will w/t/c & is a good balance of whoa & go. He will walk quietly all day but will also move out when cued. He will hop over a jump or obstacle. We have introduced him to ring work & he's been doing great with picking up the correct leads! For his size, he moves around the ring rather nicely! Nash has been great for our beginner riders! He'd be a great husband horse, too! He has the talent, brains, & heart that would allow him to excel easily in other disciplines such as fox hunts, shows, dressage, english pleasure, cart classes, etc.. He has no limitations! This gentle giant has SO much to offer aside from being a total sweetheart & something to drool over. He'd love to meet you.🖤

This sweet soul is the most gentle & deserving girl. She isn't the fanciest or flashiest, but she is an absolute babysitter.

Hazel is a 16y/o, 15.1hh Morgan X mare who is broke to ride or drive. She is barefoot & is UTD on everything. She was a former Amish horse, so she's been exposed to many things & is about as carefree as they come. She does have white marks on her face from a halter being left on too tight in her past. Hazel could also use a few pounds. She was being run off of the hay from one of our bossy mares until we switched her pasture. She's mid to lower in our pecking order. Hazel can live out or be stalled. We have used her for some lead line & w/t lessons for the smaller kids. She does so well for them! The older girls ride her in the ring, over obstacles, into town, & on the trails. She's willing to go anywhere you point her & isn't spooky or fussy. She will bravely haul out to new locations alone or with others. She walks next to heavy traffic & isn't bothered by the chaos of downtown. She stands quietly to mount, bridle, tack, harness, hitch, ties, hauls, & lifts her feet. She will w/t/c, but is a tad more whoa than go. She's also willing to hop over a smaller jump or log. Hazel is suitable for all riding levels & would be great for beginners or children just learning. She is so forgiving, tolerant, & the same good girl every single day. She is respectful on the ground as well. Hazel is broke to drive single or double. Anyone could drive her! She could take the family for a nice weekend stroll or give out some holiday cart rides. She'd also be great to pair with younger horses learning the ropes. Hazel still has a lot to offer someone & deserves to be pampered & spoiled. Even better if she could be spoiled by some children while giving them a confidence boost! This sweet girl would love to meet you.🤎

Opal is an 11y/o, 16.3hh gray draft Molly mule who is broke to ride & drive. She is barefoot & UTD on everything. She is built like a brick house & can carry or pull heavy riders/loads. Aside from that, she is gorgeous & has the most adorable long ears! Opal is a sweetheart to be around & is impeccably mannered. She is gentle to handle or lead. She gets along great in our mixed herd, can live out or be stalled, & is an easy keeper. Opal is broke to drive single or double & has been hitched to farm machinery. Anyone, including beginners, could harness, hitch, or drive her. She'd be great to pair with younger horses or those just getting into driving. Opal could give carriage rides in town & she'd look lovely doing weddings, parties, events, etc.. She doesn't mind crowds, traffic, stop lights, or chaotic sights downtown. She stands nicely while passengers load & unload. Opal is just as quiet & trustworthy under saddle. She'd be a great 1st time mule, hubby or beginner's mule, or confidence booster. Her only vice is that she isn't going to win any races! She's definitely more whoa than go & prefers to walk/trot. Canter takes a whole lotta convincing & is almost non-existent. 😂That's ok, though, because she's a rock star on the trails & you won't find a more sure footed riding partner. If you can sit in a saddle & hold reins, you can ride her! Opal will go anywhere & everywhere you point her, whether she's in a large group or all by herself. She isn't spooky or high maintenance. She'll stroll through town next to semis, stop & greet folks, walk into the drive-thru, go for a swim, & hauls out to new locations with confidence. Opal would do awesome for parades, overnight camping, hunting trips for riding or packing, or even just to hit the trails. She's the same dependable girl whether she's ridden daily or once a month. Opal is one of the kindest & safest mules we've come across! She'd love to meet you.🤍🩶

Meet this beautiful, smaller crossbred gelding of ours! 🤩

Romeo is a 13y/o, 15.1hh Morgan X gelding who is broke to ride & drive. He has a nice short & stout build. He has beautiful liver chestnut coloring with stunning chocolate shades. In the bright sunlight, he appears more red than he is in person. Romeo has a gorgeous thick mane that would give Fabio a run for his money! He definitely attracts attention, whether he's walking through town or just standing in our pasture, looking handsome. Romeo is one of those well-rounded & versatile types that would be suitable for every family member. With his safe & reliable behavior, yet willingness to please, he's one of our go tos for beginners. Romeo is broke to drive single or double. A beginner could easily harness, hitch, & drive him. He has been to town & is traffic safe. While he will walk along quietly, he also doesn't mind trotting & covering some ground. He would have no problem giving carriage rides downtown, working parties, or just taking the family for a leisurely drive. Romeo is sweet natured & well mannered. He stands nicely for the farrier & is currently shod on the fronts. This guy is a trail master & will travel anywhere he's pointed. He is sure footed & won't hesitate to go for a swim, over bridges, rocks, creeks, ditches, up steep hills, over logs, into the woods, etc.. He is the same whether he's in a large group or all by himself. He confidently jumps off the trailer, ready to ride when hauled off property. The girls ride him into town often. He walks right next to heavy traffic, greets folks along the way, stands tied nicely, & doesn't mind the chaos. He will go through the obstacle course, pony horses, ride ba****ck, carry the flag, we can rope from his back, & so much more! While he doesn't have english training, he moves around a ring nicely & does well over a jump! Under saddle, he will w/t/c & is a nice mix of whoa & go. He's happy to walk along all day but will also lope right off if asked. Romeo has been wonderful with our beginners, yet he's athletic & a fun ride for the experienced. We think he'd be great at many things, including fox hunting, parades, camping trips, therapy work, carriage rides, fun shows, etc.. He'd also make a great lesson horse or even just a confidence booster. Romeo has the looks, brains, personality, & huge heart. He'd love to meet you!🤎🖤

Take a peek at this versatile crossbred of ours!🤩

Splash is a 12y/o, 14.2hh gorgeous red roan Quarter horse/Gypsy Vanner X gelding. For being on the shorter side, pics don't accurately show just how stout & stocky he is! Splash is put together nicely & has the most stunning coloring! He lightens up even more when he sheds out! He is barefoot & UTD on everything. We also have his identical brother. The boys have been used as a driving team for parades, wagon rides & other events. Road/town/traffic safe & has been around crowds of people with no issues. Splash is not currently broken to drive single but could easily be trained. He will stand to mount, harness, hitch, bridle, groom, bathe, ties, loads, & hauls. He stands for the farrier. He gets along nicely in our mixed herd & is an easy keeper. While the girls can ride him anywhere & everywhere, we recommend an advanced begginer rider & up due to him being athletic & forward when asked. He is not uncontrollable at all, & has never bucked, bolted, reared, kicked, etc.. Splash has a nice w/t/c & will walk on a loose rein all day long. If you want him to move out, he will easily do so. He moves around a ring nicely, but isn't fancy broke yet. We have taken him over jumps & obstacles. He does great & could easily fox hunt! Splash has been great to haul off property & to take on trails. He travels where you point him, whether he's alone or with a group. He is sure footed & will cover any types of terrain, & has the stamina to go on long rides. We ride him into crazy town next to traffic, into the drive-thru for lunch, over bridges, & he happily greets folks along the way. He attracts all of the attention when he's in public with his gorgeous looks! Splash is easy to get along with & has a friendly personality. While he tolerated a lot of the "tricks" we do for desensitizing work, he isn't dead to the world. The worst he's done is get a little antsy & start moving around/away. Splash would be great for camping trips, trails, fox hunts, lessons, driving double, & more! He could easily go on to do some cross country, ranch work, or finish him out to be a fancy english show mount! His age, versatility, athleticism, ton of try, & work ethic would make him suitable for anything! 🤎

We are excited to share this guy of ours with y'all! He is the definition of quiet & safe. 🤩

Sven is a 15y/o, 15.2hh Haflinger/Belgian X gelding who is barefoot & UTD on everything. He has a stout & stocky build, gorgeous long mane/tail & sheds out beautifully. Don't let his age deter you as he has SO much to offer! Haflingers can live into their late 30s. Sven has the most easygoing personality & is always willing to do what is asked of him. He is very well mannered, gentle to handle, & has a friendly disposition. We really can't say a single bad thing about him! Sven is a jack of all trades & a been there, done it, seen it kinda guy. He is suitable for all riding levels, including beginners & would be great for those who don't have horse experience. He is tolerant, forgiving, & a total babysitter. Whether it's small kids or grandma, he takes care of his rider. You could pack a few beers for your ride & he'd bring you back safely, whether you're sideways in the saddle, backward, or half asleep! 😉 Sven is great to take on trail rides or haul off property. He is not spooky or fussy. The girls ride him all through town next to traffic, into the drive-thru, tie him outside of the store, & he's happy to greet everyone along the way. He rides through the obstacle course, carries a flag, tarps, dogs underfoot, & anything you can think of! Under saddle, he will w/t/c, & is a good mix of whoa & go. He isn't fancy broke, but he moves around the ring nicely. He's happy to take a jump or go over fallen logs. Sven could give lessons to kids, then go out & fox hunt afterward! He'd be great for 2nd & 3rd flights. While he's safe for beginners, he wouldn't bore those with experience. Sven is broke to drive single or double & has been hitched to farm machinery. Huck is an 8y/o, 16.1hh Belgian gelding who is barefoot, sound, & is UTD on everything. He has a shorter & stout build. This guy is quite handsome & the pics don't do him any justice. He is NOT like most of our horses as he needs some work. We purchased him about 2.5 months ago. He was previously doing some work on an Amish farm & was no longer needed. When we got him, he was rather underweight & very scared. He has come quite a ways in the last few months! Huck needs more trust building work. He is nervous. It's mostly on the ground as he rides amazing! He can be harder to catch some days without grain to entice him. He gets a little anxious sometimes when things come at him quickly like a saddle pad while tacking up. Or mounting too fast. (Again, it's mostly only while you're on the ground). He doesn't do anything mean or naughty such as kick, bite, rear, bolt, etc.. He just side steps or acts afraid. He does stand tied, loads & hauls, & is good for the farrier without stocks. He gets along nicely in our mixed herd & falls mid to lower. The girls have been working with him & he makes more progress each day! Due to his nerves, we'd recommend someone who has horse knowledge with owning or handling. As for riding, he is safe for beginners. (I know, it's contradicting!) He really rides so well & you don't notice the nervous behavior under saddle. He will wtc & is a good mix of whoa & go. We have ridden him in the ring & have taken him over a few jumps. Huck has been a great trail horse! He rides out with others or alone. He goes into the lake for a swim, into town next to heavy traffic, up steep terrain, into the woods, dogs following, etc.. We didn't try things like tarps & flags in his face just for obvious reasons. While with the Amish, he worked in the field under harness & was driven double. We did harness him up single, but when we went to hook a cart behind him, he got a little nervous, so we didn't force it. Huck wants to please & wants to trust his humans. He just needs consistency, love, & chance. He is young enough that he could absolutely work through his nervousness on the ground to become a confident horse who could excel in many disciplines. 💕IN HIS FOREVER 🏠!💕

If you love sweet, dark, & handsome, then take a look at this boy! 🤩

Coal is a 10y/o, black 3/4 Percheron gelding standing 17hh. He is put together correctly with a solid build but can still move lightly on his feet. Coal is sound, UTD on everything, & is currently barefoot but can be shod. He is well behaved & is respectful to handle. He stands to mount from many things, to bathe, groom, bridle, tack, harness, hitch, for the farrier, & loads well. He lives out to pasture in a mixed herd & gets along well with the others. Coal is broke to drive single or double & has been hooked to some farm machinery. He has done a few seasons of carriage/wagon rides in town double already & could continue doing them. He would be suitable for beginners, both single or double. Road/traffic safe. He'd look absolutely lovely pulling a carriage for weddings, funerals, parties, etc.. This boy is stunning & gets you noticed! Coal is at the perfect age where it would be easy for him to learn new disciplines. He is very intelligent & aims to please his humans. Up until now, aside from driving, he has been mostly a trail horse. Just because he isn't fancy broke currently doesn't mean he can't easily be in the future! Under saddle, he will w/t/c, but is a little more whoa than go. He has lovely movement, especially with an experienced rider. The arena is newer to him, so he can be a bit lazy riding in it. We've introduced him to jumps & obstacles. He's doing well so far. We can see him fox hunting this season 2nd or 3rd flight. Coal is great out on the trails & seems to really enjoy going on adventures. He trravels where you point him, whether he's alone or in a group. While he isn't spooky, he isn't a dead head either. If he gets unsure about something, he tends to work & think through it. Anyone who knows the basics of riding would be suitable for him. He has never offered any bad behavior. Coal is sure footed & covers all types of terrain. He'll walk into the lake for a swim, into the drive-thru for lunch, blaze trails in the woods, & will ride right next to semis or heavy traffic. He enjoys meeting new people & getting all the attention possible. He's a friendly & inquisitive boy with a fun personality! Coal could be hauled out to a new location every day & would hop off the trailer ready to ride. The girls ride him all over the place! He's been ridden ba****ck, double, english, or western. He has toted around beginners with no issues. Coal is a total sweetheart & will absolutely get you noticed. We'd love to see him explore other disciplines, whether it's dressage, english or western pleasure, cross country, 4h, ranch work, etc.. He could easily do parades, lessons, fox hunts, carriage rides, camping, fun shows & more! He'd love to meet you.🖤
