Update Geno is out of the shelter on his way to foster care!!

Can you imagine the fear being alone in Philadelphia?
Can you imagine the fear of the fireworks and no where to hide?
Can you imagine the fear being picked up and taken to an overcrowded city shelter?
Have you ever visited ACCT Philly?
Where dogs come in and sometimes don’t make it out. Where dogs enter and smell the fear.

That’s what happened to Geno(buy a dog name) .

He was lying on his bed full body trembling appeared terrified. The shelter reports in the room Geno was so scared when the handler entered his cage he remained in one spot trembling. He allowed the handler to leash him easily continuing to tremble. He exited the kennel but then immediately darted back into kennel terrified looking for safety.
The handler used some leash pressure to get him to the edge of kennel and then was able to pick him up to evaluate him.

Philadelphia shelter does its best but they are faced with the worst, an over abundance of unwanted animals.

Philadelphia Geno needs you.
Adopt A Boxer needs you.
We all need to help Geno get out from the fear.

Update- our volunteer went to meet Geno and said he is awesome outside the kennel!

This can also be deadly for boxers to take.

If your dog is afraid of fireworks, thunderstorms, or other loud noises, do NOT "Ace the Fear"! Acepromazine won't help and will probably make his fears worse.

Week 2 of another awesome Outdoor Adventure Class in downtown Howell. So much fun.

What a perfect Day for our first Outdoor Adventure Class. Such a great group of dogs and handlers.

A little practice in a new environment. He is getter there. And I am figuring out how to run a deaf dog one step at a time. 😁

Today was REAL agility day. Lil Dude did a test run for our big debut coming on the 13th with Cash and a bunch of my students. Not to shabby some attention issues which being deaf he and I struggle with at times. But he came back to work beautifully and finished perfectly (minus handler forgetting to stay with him instead of ahead of him (I am figuring it out LOL) Good Job Lil Dude hopefully Cash will have similar results in 2 weeks. Such a great time with friends and being able to celebrate such a beautiful retirement party with Caroline and Dolly and her AMAZING career ❤️. More to come 😃
