An update to my gofundme:

I can’t believe how close I am to things getting better. These past few months have been extremely hard for me. I am not used to not being able to rely on myself to make sure these animals are not only fed, but in the best possible condition. I will forever miss the animals that were adopted out, but i know I can’t provide lifetime sanctuary to every one i rescue. It’s just not realistic. I have always had the hardest time asking for help and I feel like the silver lining and all of this is that I really needed to learn how to ask for help to build a solid foundation for my rescue.

Besides asking for help with food, I hope this will be my last big ask for this situation. I am trying my hardest to go back to work ASAP. I hope I will be able to fix things with my property so my animal family can end up in paradise again. I know how much the dogs miss hiking every day. I’m sure the horses miss running free through the trails. I want so bad to put this behind us. My property is 80 acres and i can’t imagine 2 or 5 or 10 years from now the type of place we could create for them.

The only thing that I need now is to stock up on food so I can go to work. I’m going to list the items needed and edit/delete as i get donations for them so i can keep it updated. My goal is to raise this all in 10 days so i can get to work and cover the $ i need myself to make sure i don’t fully lose the property I worked so hard for. Please help me in this last stride to get back on my feet and give all of the residents here the home they deserve 🩵🙏🏻

if anyone can help, I am desperate to make ends meet right now. I have fallen behind on pasture rental and the shelters. It is really important i get this all handled so the animals can continue to have a roof over their head. 🩵🙏🏻 i have not too much longer until i can go back to work and get everything back in order. ’m sure this will come as a shock to most of you… but welcoming a non-animal into this crazy rescue world. Her name is Kensie Paige, and as you can see my animal family is in awe of her. 😍

Although i shouldn’t have to 😑 i want to make sure i clarify that being pregnant was NOT the reason i had been unable to work initially. I was in and out of the hospital the beginning of this year, and was forced to slow down in order to get healthy again. Everything happened at once and the judge judys in my DMs were just too much to deal with having to explain to everyone how i would handle my health, my property issues, taking care of the animals and now a baby. I understand how easy it is to assume that if it’s too much for one person to survive, it must be too much for everyone else as well. I promise I am built different 😅 I have always come back from every situation that broke me, no matter what rock bottom it was, and i’m sure I will get back in balance soon. But for now, enjoy some baby/animal photos from this week 🙏🏻🩵

It’s GIVING tuesday!!! I thought i missed it last tuesday 🫠 I still need to raise $ for food and pasture rental but im hoping and praying maybe, just maybe by some miracle I’ll be able to raise enough $ to make a payment on my property since ive been in the process of losing it. I worked so hard the past 4 years to accumulate 80 acres for the animals and our future, and i really hope to go back there soon. It was everything to the animals and myself. Twice a day i hiked with the dogs, and the horses would be let out to run freely up the mountains. I was halfway through the permitting to start building a home. I try not to dwell on that situation, but it was a dream 🙏🏻🩵. I truly appreciate every bit of help this group has given me to get through this time, and i’ll never give up on any of these animals.

The animals really need your help this week‼️ I have only 5 days to raise $1000 for pasture rental and i am overdue $500 to the payment on the horse shelter. Every storm is stressful when you have farm animals 😓 We didn’t get much snow but the cold and strong wind had me up all night worrying about the horses. Finally the sun is out and everyone is dirty but healthy and fed.

TODAY i’ll be doing a hay/feed run.. trying to make it the only one this week.

I desperately need funds to feed the horses and pigs. 20 gets 1 bale of hay or 1 bag of pig feed. It’s $32 a bag for snickers food. It’s about $250 for the week. I feel like the universe put so many animals in my life because i could never give up with them by my side. Sometimes the weight and pressure of not letting them down can be debilitating, but it’s also motivating and puts so much more fight in me.

just taking care of the animals I have Is a lot. I’ve stepped back a bit in rescuing more because of my own situation and health. I actually look back and I can’t believe that I was taking on rescues, the sanctuary animals, and having a full-time job. I feel like this was meant to give me a wake up call to care for myself. And i’m learning.

For the past couple months i’ve been traveling between 3 places to take care of the animals and we’re finally all under one roof 🙌 the dogs are sooo happy. Idk how we’re getting through this, but it feels like we are. One day at a time 🙏🏻🩵

I REALLY need help to get through the next couple months. I’m almost there. I’ve never asked for this much help and i wish i didn’t have to. Even $5 helps. Right now hay is needed the most, every few days i’m running low or out. I hate repeating myself asking for the same thing but it’s reality, it goes fast. If you can spare anything, i appreciate it 🩵🙏🏻 My fight for the animals will never be over, and i thank everyone here who’s picked up my slack while i’m down.

There is a lot going on the month of September so i’m going to start a fundraiser for the many things that must get done before winter. It can be really scary and dangerous not being prepared and making sure all of the animals are safe and the enclosures are secured for the high winds and snow out here.

It’s also my birthday month and obviously the animals are the most important to me.

The only thing i really want is $ to get the horses teeth and feet done. My horse snickers has dropped a ton of weight and im working on solutions and changing diet, but i think the reason is probably his teeth. He was missing a bunch since he got here. I keep waiting until i have $ to do it, but it seems i just can’t get ahead. the person doing it has offered me a huge discount if i can schedule them within the next 2 weeks. It’s going to cost $700 for 7 horses including their feet.

I also have to worry about food, vet bills, moving the dogs and pigs, securing/moving shelters. I’m hoping to set a goal of 2500$ in total for the month of September.

I am completely out of hay and dog food as of tomorrow.
