Meet the sweet and adorable Irma! She is a 10-year-old Pittie mix with a smile that lights up the room! She was found as a stray, and she has so much love she's ready to give a forever family. Her sweet nature is complemented by her mellow and goofy personality. She's very playful, and she loves to engage in tug-of-war matches with her favorite rope toys! When she's not playing, you'll find her basking in the sun. At age 10, she isn't super active, so she would be a great companion for someone looking for a dog that is still playful and spunky but does not require tons of exercise. We have observed that Irma enjoys interacting with male dogs over females, so if there are any male dogs in your home, let's set up a dog meet and greet just to ensure they get along. With her size and excitability, we recommend kids ages 12 and up for this gal! Adopt Irma to add a touch of sweetness, a dash of goofiness, and a whole lot of love to your life!"

Meet Vinnie! Vinnie is a delightful canine companion who’s always ready for a day of play! With his friendly disposition and adorable self, he’s sure to bring joy to his future household. As a 4-year-old 56lb Pit Bull mix, Vinnie has loads of energy. He’s an athletic fellow that enjoys the company of female dogs. What can we say – he’s a ladies man! His ideal home environment is one without cats and kids. He’s such a goofy bundle of energy that he may be a bit much for young children, but he would make a great hiking or running partner for an individual or couple. Vinnie’s got a fun and spunky personality – on top of being oh so sweet – and is so ready to meet his match! He’s house-trained and up-to-date on vaccinations, and he’s also neutered and microchipped.

Meet our sweet and adorable friend, Harlequin. She is a young (between 1-3 years old) Shepherd-mix. Harlequin is a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you it is nothing but unconditional love with this wonderful girl. She is calm and patient, but also enjoys play time. She gets along very well with other dogs, and while SWH isn’t sure how she does with children, we get the sense that she would be a fantastic family dog. Harlequin loves to play outside, so she would do really well with a family that has an active lifestyle and back yard. Help us find this amazing dog her forever family. She truly deserves it.

Hound dog lovers, look no further! This beautiful 6-year-old Hound mix, Bunny, has been at the shelter since June 2022. She has gained so much confidence while at the shelter, and staff know she is ready to take on a forever family! Bunny is super sweet and playful, and she absolutely loves running around in the backyard and interacting with staff. Bunny is ready to take on life outside of our shelter walls. Bunny’s adoption fee is SPONSORED the entire month of December in the hopes it will help her find her forever home. Let’s help her find one.

Meet the adorable Paisley. She is a 2-year-old Pug-mix. This precious little pup is in search of her forever home. Her previous family were forced to give her up for adoption after they moved to a home that was not dog-friendly. Paisley is incredibly gentle, sweet, and patient. At first she may come across as a little shy or timid, but once she warms up she is playful and sociable. She is as cute as a button and even has an adorable snaggle tooth. Meet Maise, your future best friend! She is an absolute bundle of joy! So full of energy and as smart as a whip! Maise has completed a 7-week training program and she already knows commands like sit, stay, down, and much more. Maise is a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog-mix, and as you can see, has an absolutely beautiful coat. She loves to play fetch, explore the great outdoors, and go on car rides! She would prefer to be your one and only baby (no other pets or children). She promises to fill your life with laughter, love, and loyalty.

KTTS & Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar are thrilled to introduce Riley 😍. Riley is a BEAUTIFUL 4-year-old Alaskan Husky mix! She loves to play, and is always up for a game of fetch or a good run.

Riley gets along great with other dogs and kiddos! However, she isn’t the best with other, smaller, household animals. As a Husky, her instinct is to chase, so a home without small pets would be perfect for her.

She loves to run and play and has lots of energy! Nevvi is a sweetheart and has so much love to offer. Meet our newest “Fotsch’s Furry Friend”, Willow. She is a 6-year-old Shepherd mix. Willow is a GREAT dog! She has a very calm and gentle demeanor with the sweetest personality. It’s hard not to fall in love with her. She absolutely loves cuddles, belly-rubs, and tasty treats. She’s a very intelligent dog. In fact she is already house-trained and knows a couple of commands. Meet Boomer, a 9-year-old, Terrier mix. He has learned to appreciate the simple joys in his golden years. He really enjoys a good nap, a gentle pat, and a mellow stroll. He has a heart full of love that he’s eager to share. He is incredibly sweet and will never turn down a pet or cuddle!

He would prefer a home with no cats running around, and he gets along best with older kiddos. Younger children make him a bit nervous. He has a couple of masses on his chest, which the staff vet will discuss with any potential adopters. They have not slowed him down and are not causing any issues. This sweet boy promises to bring a lot of love and laughter into your home!

Meet a beautiful and sweet boy named Louie! He is a 3-year-old, German Shepherd-mix. Louie is a gentle giant. He shows a great deal of patience and has a very calming nature. He also enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors. Louie would prefer a home with either no children or children ages 12+. He also doesn’t love the company of cats. Louie does, however, LOVE people, and he enjoys his canine friends. The Humane Society still recommends a meet and greet with any dogs you already own. He seems to prefer larger dogs over small!
