They slept in the sun in Summer, they rolled in the snow in Winter. Then I adopted this adorable little eleven pound Chihuahua mix, named Buddy Beatfeet, at SICSA and things changed. The poor pooch can't stand the rain. My theory is that he is afraid he will shrink if he gets wet, at eleven pounds that's something he can't afford. Buddy needed a raincoat. y fit him, not to mention finding a raincoat in June is a challenge by itself. So I posted jokingly on my Facebook wall that I would learn how to sew if someone would just give me a sewing machine. Totally backfired! My awesome friend Christina wrote back in no time. She had one, still in the box, never used it, had it for years, I could have it... for free!!! Oh my, oh my... then I got patterns and fabric and everything else and started sewing.
