Forte Animal Rescue Forte Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving animals. We are a registered 501(c)3.

Adoption Events are held on the *first and third Saturday of each month* at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Mar Vista. Please stop by and meet our available dogs!

Forte Animal Rescue offers refuge for homeless dogs until they are placed in their permanent homes. In order to successfully rescue and place

the dogs with new families, we rely solely on donations. Once a dog is under our care, we never give up on any dog regardless of behavioral issues or medical challenges, which often means we incur significant expenses for veterinary treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and boarding for dogs who take more time and care to adopt out. Forte also offers a structured Junior Volunteer program with hands-on experience, run by a certified high-school teacher. We are dedicated to inspiring compassion and educating the youth about the animal protection. Many children are learning the importance of spay/neuter and proper care of the animals while volunteering with us, and some are so inspired that they have decided to become veterinarians. Donations or any support is always greatly appreciated. Donations can be made online (www.FARescue.org) or via regular mail at PO Box 10085, Marina del Rey, CA 90295. We are also looking for foster homes for our rescued dogs, along with volunteers to help our adoption events.

A nice lady took me in from a friend who couldn’t have me, but she really couldn’t keep me in her home either, so she contacted Forte to find me a great home, and I understand they intend to do just that! When they gave me some toys of my own, I got excited and played with them for a long time, because I never had any toy before. I can be pretty calm when someone’s holding me, but I get very active and playful when I have toys and a place of my own to play in. I would love to play at your place, maybe with another doggie if you have one!

I’m shy at first but also loyal, inquisitive and once I feel comfortable, I’m playful and super fun. If you’re new to me, I’m a little skittish so please go slow with me. I’m happy to just sit and lounge with you, watching the world go by, but also love playing with my doggie buddies when in the right mood. Did I mention I’m handsome?

I was a street dog in South LA without a collar or microchip, but a kind lady has been taking care of me, so I’m now healthy and happy! I’m vaccinated, parasite free and microchipped. I love playing with other dogs, I love kids, and I’m okay with cats. I’m potty-trained, I know how to use a doggie door, and I’m not destructive, but I do like to snoop (I’m still learning my manners). I can be talkative at times to get my way. I’m great on a leash and enjoy walks. I’m learning basic tricks: to heel around the person, make a circle, sit, and lay on command for my treat. I enjoy meeting new dogs to play with and love meeting people and giving kisses and receiving tummy rubs. You can take me anywhere because I am well-mannered when people meet me! I’m an old soul in a puppy’s body, and I’m very sweet, loving and happy! I’d love to meet you 💕

Hi there! I’m a bundle of joy with the cutest face you’ll ever see! I love nothing more than snuggling up for a nap or zooming around in playful bursts. My favorite part of the day is when the students come home from school. I can’t wait to greet them! I stick my little face through the fence, wagging my tail like a mad pup, running back and forth to say hello to everyone. I’m just a happy little guy, excited to learn all about the world around me, one sniff and wag at a time!
