Why do some dogs eat their own or other another dog's stool?
This practice, called coprophagia, likely evolved from the fact that wild dogs are carnivores and scavengers, sometimes eating f***s when other food was not available. Some dogs may lack critical digestive enzymes when they are only eating processed dried foods, so they gain these from consuming other dogs f***l matter.
Dog f***s can carry dangerous organisms, and is unsafe when your dog eats other dogs stool.
