Our dogs are considered companions and family members first and foremost, competitors second. We believe a sheltie should be of sound temperament, beautiful conformation, and have the ability to do what it was originally bred to do. We enjoy participating in therapy visits, obedience, agility and conformation with the dogs from our lines. Our dogs are very active and loving shelties, which we beli

eve a sheltie should be. We do not breed often, but when we do, we breed for brains and temperament in mind first, then conformation. We feel that even the best looking sheltie according to the standard should not be flighty or aggressive, so that is why we put conformation second to temperament. We believe the Shetland Sheepdog is a wonderful breed and should continue to prosper, therefore, we are completely against puppy mills and inexperienced breeders. We also test our breeding dogs for eyes (CERF), hips (OFA), thyroid, vWD, and MDR-1 mutations.

It has been a while since we have made an update post on this page. We had some sad news each time we tried to a have a litter the last three attempts, so we spayed our girl, therefore, no litters planned. T***s will stay here and continue to compete in obedience, rally, and have more ducks and sheep interactions which she LOVES.

The good news is that last month, "Bing" completed his AKC Championship and is now known as CH Applecross Sympa-ly The One With All The Kisses TKN. This made his mom a Register Of Merit (ROM) meaning that she has 5 Champion offspring in AKC. He finished at 21 months old.

He finished with two Specialty majors, and got that last one under the respected breeder/judge Nioma Coen of Macdega Shelties. He had several other major reserves and Best Op/Runner Up to Best In Sweeps, as well as a UKC Best In Sweeps at their Specialty last year.

We are excited to continue his journey as he matures, heading for his Grand Championship with some other performance titles, too! He also got my first "Best of Breed" at an AKC show the following show after finishing, for a major towards his GCH having defeated other Champions.

I had to update the website since he has done so well, so here is his webpage!

He was bred by Janet Shafer.  I can not thank her enough for sharing this special guy with me.  He has a beautiful head, outline, flat topline, and easy movement.  He is 14 1/4" so should be a nice size for breeding.  He is a fun, loving, energetic dog with an "off button" for resting on a chill...

Our website has been updated to add Bing, and show the newest dogs who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

As previously stated, we still do not have any litters planned here.

Our dogs are considered companions and family members first and foremost, competitors second.  They are house dogs and have free roam when we are home.
