● To restore rescued Newfoundlands to reasonable physical and mental health prior to adoption.

● To direct Newfoundland inquiries to referral sources within the Rescue or Club for advice and support.

● To provide a ‘One Voice’ source for rescue of Newfoundlands within the Colonial Newfoundland Club, Inc.

We have an urgent need for a foster for this young gal. She is about 10 months old and has a lot of energy! She gets along with other dogs but very small dogs or cats might not work because of her prey drive. If you already have a foster application with us please contact [email protected] or [email protected]. To foster you will need to have a physical fence of at least 4 feet and live in DC, MD or VA. We cover all expenses. Our rescue has been super busy and we are running out of options.

We are almost there! Contest ends at 8 pm this evening. Vote for your favorite Newf and help us meet our goal. We have 2 more dogs coming in next week that will need to be vetted, spayed, neutered, groomed, etc. That will bring us up to 11 dogs in our foster care with a couple with major health issues.

Remember that if your entry does not get in the top 13 your Newf will still be in the calendar. Also anyone can enter their Newf. You do need to have rescued your Newf. This contest helps us take care of the Newfs we have in our rescue. Donations have been low this year please help to support us.
