Due to concerns about the Viral Canine Respiratory Illness in the news, we are tightening and expanding our sanitation protocols.
As you may know, the Velvet Paw is a "one on one" salon which gives us a definite advantage in these efforts.
Your pets' health is very important to us. We are watching emerging science and recommendations closely, both from news as well as our County Health department.
We ask that if your pet has been in any communal situation such as boarding or doggy day care, or a dog park, you please do not schedule your grooming within 2 weeks of these occurrences. It is also recommended that these be avoided if possible.
If your pet has any symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath, wheezing or fatigue, please call your veterinarian.
