Will accept any shelter or rescue who can take them in, but they are not safe in this area.

Remember our URGENT CRY for assistance for three kittens whose mother was killed? Well, thanks to a good samaritan, they were captured and will be ready for adoption around September.

We will be posting each one individually with their personality traits in about another month, as their socialization continues. Believe us when we say that there is a HUGE difference between "scared strays" and "feral" cats!

MOST are scared strays, and with time, patience and kindness, they will come around and make great family companions!

After years of research on pet food, we finally found something LILLIE can eat. She has a super sensitive digestive system, and we have had her on every type of food, both prescription and OTC.

Lillie LOVES this food. Absolutely no prompting to eat, she has lost weight in a healthy way and her coat is gorgeous. She has so much more energy, too! Always wants to play, extremely vocal. We've had her for seven years already, and we adopted her at about 3 years old they thought.

TANGO UPDATE:

Her heart murmur was a level 2 (out of 6). She lost about .26 ounces since February so we are watching that closely.

Weight: 5.47 lbs a loss of .26 ounces since February.

Her respiratory rate was slightly elevated to about 60 but she's been holding at home to around 30, so we are hoping she was just stressed out.

We did decide to draw blood which will check on her thyroid levels, kidney's, white/red blood counts and electrolytes. We will have those results in about 2 days.

Tango's care is palliative meaning we will continue to monitor her health and provide comfort care, with minimal tests and procedures , like blood draws, fluids and meds to keep her comfortable.

Hospice care follows with managing her pain until such time we have to say goodbye!

Cats hide pain, so we can only go by her appetite, demeanor overall and food/water intake. So far, she's hanging in there....

RESCUE UPDATE:

The hardest thing about rescue is saying goodbye.

We have three cats that are nearing their final days.

All three feral strays, had dedicated caregivers who have funded and cared for them for over a decade, but now they need a little help as their health has declined and they are entering what we call palliative care.

We are asking for you to help us, help them care for these precious souls for the remainder of their days.

You can help support them in their final days by contributing monetarily at [email protected] (Paypal) or through a contribution of much needed supplies, specifically food and litter!
