As many of you know, the recent wildfires in California have left countless pets, especially our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, in desperate need of help. They need our support now more than ever.

We're organizing a rescue effort to provide shelter, food, and veterinary care for these adorable pups in need. Here’s how you can help:

1️⃣ Foster: If you can open your home in Southern California to a Cavalier in need, temporarily, please reach out! Fostering can make a world of difference for the dogs and their families.

2️⃣ Spread the Word: Share this post and help us reach more animal lovers who can assist in this effort.

Lola, rescued from an urgent situation right before Christmas, is a true miracle mama. We’re thrilled to report that both mom and her little ones are doing well! We are thankful for our volunteers and you who make our work of saving lives a reality.

🚦🚗Road trip adventures and knitting escapades! Meet Tate, our spirited rescue pup who found his forever home in Texas! 🐾💖
He's the perfect sidekick for his Blenheim brudder, and together they’re taking on the world! 🌎 When he’s not cruising in the car on fabulous road trips with Mom and Dad, Tate is living his best life as a cheeky little troublemaker, typical Ruby. Just check out this hilarious moment when he snatched Mom's knitting needle and made a run for it! 😂🐶 Quickly apprehended by mom! Caught in the act, but not a hint of remorse—just a little pup face full of sass! We’re so thrilled for Tate and his new family! Thank you to his forever family for loving him!🐾❤️🐶

🚨🐾 Exciting Updates from the 70+ intake 🐾✈️ Four incredible volunteers recently took to the skies with 8 adorable pups from our 70+ intake in the PNW, flying them to the Southwest area. Imagine being on that flight—8 pups in the cabin, and not a peep or a p**p from any of them! Whew! ✈️🐶

A HUGE thank you to our amazing Southwest Team for pulling off this mission in just one day. These sweet pups are now on their way to a second chance at life, and it's all thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.

But our work is far from done. These puppies will need veterinary care, treatment for Coccidia, vaccinations and thorough vet exams. Your donations make this possible! 💕

🐾 Urgent Appeal: 🐶💕We need YOUR support to raise $50k+ for our recent rescue intake of 70+ Cavaliers this weekend. These sweet pups have been through so much, but with your help, we can give them the second chance they deserve.

🐶Your donations will cover essential veterinary care, desex surgeries, treatments, transportation, and supplies for over 70 Cavaliers who are now in our care. The puppies all have coccidia and we have puppies from days old on up. Our dedicated triage team has already provided the dogs with vaccinations, triage examinations, brucellosis testing, parvo testing, microchipping, and more. These dogs range from very young to about 9 years old and are all on the path to recovery and a brighter future. As you can see there are some eye issues to be addressed.

Calling all animal enthusiasts! The American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue Trust is in urgent need of volunteers to help give Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a second chance at life. We are a dedicated and passionate team committed to assisting Cavaliers in need, regardless of the circumstances.

We are looking for volunteers who possess the following qualities:
- A deep passion and understanding of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and work on a need-to-know basis.
- A drama-free attitude - the reality of rescue work is dramatic enough!
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to getting things done.
- Dedication to our mission and organization.
- Effective communication skills.
- An open-minded attitude towards breeders - we support responsible breeders and ensure that all rescue dogs in our care are spayed or neutered once they are healthy enough.
- A team player who respects and follows our policies, rules, and guidelines. You will be required to sign a Code of Conduct to join our community of compassionate individuals who share a love for animal welfare.

Volunteering with the Cavalier Rescue Trust is not just a commitment, but a rewarding experience that has become a significant part of our volunteers' lives. Hey there, I'm Augie, a sweet six-year-old boy being fostered in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a handsome, silky-soft, six-year-old, neutered, black and tan boy weighing 16 pounds.

I absolutely love hanging out with people, but I do best as the only dog in the family. I enjoy strolls in the backyard, am well-behaved on a leash, and am fully crate-trained. I also take great pleasure in mealtime and am always eager for my breakfast and dinner.

I'm in tip-top shape health-wise for my age and would make the perfect companion for a retired couple with lots of love to give. If you're on the lookout for a loyal and loving furry friend, I might just be the perfect match for you!
