Staffed 100% through the efforts and donations of volunteers, we find homes for animals that other shelters and people have given up on. Through the kindness of various boarding kennels and foster families, rescued animals are cared for until they find that final family to love them. Rescue Ridge began by rescuing healthy, beautiful, animals that were slated to be euthanized through no fault of th

eir own. We felt it was unfair, that because their 'humans' had no more use for them, their days were numbered. We have tried to give each and every one of these companions a new lease on life. We rescued dogs, cats, horses and any other animal that we were able to help with our limited resources. And since we have limited space, we are always searching for those willing to help foster these wonderful creatures. We are always happy to provide information on options available to anyone needing to re-home their pet for whatever reason. It is our belief that education regarding pet ownership and its responsibilities is the best hope these companions have. Announcing the wonderful adoption of Ellie! Ellie is such an amazing girl and we have all loved having her here at Rescue Ridge. We are so happy that she has found such a loving, forever home. Ellie has made incredible strides at Rescue Ridge and we know she will now doing even better with her new family who loves her so much already. Quinn, 4.5 yr. Old female. Her family was relocating and decided it was best for her to get a new home. Quinn has the prettiest green eyes and loudest purrs ! She Rolls over for belly rubs.

Baloo the grey loving mush is searching for his happily-ever-after filled with love and affection! He has overcome awful conditions the first year of life to become the sweetest mush cat. He was part of a cat hoarding case where he lived among over 250 cats in deplorable conditions.

He is neutered, Microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up to date on vaccines.

Sebastian Sunday! : Update 11/10/24
Recap: Sebastian's story began in the most horrific way- he was drenched in gasoline and suffered from severe chemical burns covering 80% of his body!

Sebastian is in a loving foster home and continues to heal miraculously. His fur is growing back on his skin revealing a remarkable coat. 😻 You can find him cuddling with humans and loving all the attention.
Despite the trauma he's endured, Sebastian continues to show endless bounds of love, reminding us all of the power of compassion and second chances

We'll Wow you with some more great news! Charlie is adopted and is just the most adorable little happy guy in his loving, forever home. Charlie came to Rescue Ridge from a local NJ shelter. He now has two new homes! He has a beach house and another house! His new family even has a boat!! We are hoping that his forever family will adopt all of us, too! LOL He is doing great and we wish Charlie and his forever family years of fun. Happy, healthy, and long life to Charlie and his wonderful new family.
