The Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees for all dogs and puppies already spayed or neutered.

We will continue the Barktic Blast Adoption Event as scheduled.

THIS SIMPLY INFURIATES ME.
I want to see the lowlife scum respondible caught.
Someone in Fentress County, TN killed Roscoe — a beloved stray dog that lived under a bridge.
Fisherman and locals care for him and he was never a threat or hurt anyone.
And — as you read below — Roscoe was set on fire and shot.
Someone tortured this poor dog.
There can be NO excuse for this behavior … NONE.
The community is outraged.
The sheriff has been notified.
There is a reward for catching the coward who did this to a helpless dog.
If you have a lead on the suspect contact the sheriff … and let me know.
If the sheriff doesn’t get on this I will get on him.
This needs to be investigated.
