A few days ago I received word that my very sweet Pixel had passed. Pixel lived a long and happy life thanks to her wonderful dad @armandomandomando ❤️.
I met Pixel when I first started working as a dog walker in Jersey City. She was probably my 3rd or 4th official client. I remember walking into her house and being greeted by this beautiful soul who accepted me right away. It was love at first sight! Leaving NJ was incredibly tough since I wouldn’t be seeing her on a regular basis anymore but I left her in the hands of @sofia.to.the.rescue to take my place. Sofia did an incredible job keeping me in the loop by sending me pictures of Pixel periodically. It always made my day.
I will be missing you forever, Pixel ❤️

This one was hard to write. Collecting photos for this wonderful soul was heart wrenching but I wanted to show my love for him.
I met Niko on a Dog Walking app. Him and his mother quickly became a reoccurring personal client. He was very ill when we met but this did not deter me from walking with him 5 days a week. Even if we didn’t get too far he was happy to be outside. He especially loved laying on the grass in the park just basking in the sun 🥰. A lot of our walks were people either coming up to us to say “Hi” or he let himself into many of the businesses near his home lol. His favorite spot was the laundromat that always had treats ready for this sweet boy! Niko knew what he wanted and where he wanted to go I was simply the woman who carried the leash. He basically had me trained lol after a while he wouldn’t walk unless I had his favorite treat in my hand 😊. I would do anything for Niko. There were moments when he didn’t have the energy for a trip outside so I would pick him up to get him going. The love was deep and I spent 3 years getting to know him. I didn’t want him to go but it was his time.
I will always remember you Niko, baby. The sweetest old man in the world. You lived a long life and I attribute that to the undying love of your Mom. She poured everything into you and everyone who knew you could feel it. Sleep well my love ❤️

As we enter the new year let’s take a moment to look back for a second! 2021 was an incredible journey for PoshPups. I took my time with my remaining months in Jersey City to soak in the love from my furry friends and the support from their amazing PoshParents. I would be no where without them. I am now starting a new in Denver and it has been a fun journey so far. I would like to thank the ones who made PoshPups what it is today and for the new ones who took a chance on me in this new area!
