Maybe the craziest thing I've seen to date!!! A kind-hearted person donated 2 Jellyroll tickets valued at over $700/ea to the Schoharie animal shelter. The shelter is accepting Venmo and Paypal donations to enter the raffle.

This photogenic client is a dachshund, a German breed whos name translates to "badger dog". Genetics play a big role in behavior. Because the dachshund was bred for keen senses and a high prey drive, they're more likely to exhibit excessive vocalization or digging in the modern home.

We are so excited to be accepted as a provisional judge for Happy Ratters!

What is Happy Ratters?
• Think "urban barn hunt" - city alley with clean trash
• Points system for titling as opposed to an "all or nothing" system.
• Lots of games to appeal to a variety of teams
• Readily accessible to a variety of dog breeds and hunting styles

What to expect from us!
• We will judge trials in the tri-state area while working on becoming a fully accepted judge
• Classes to build skills and drive
• Hyperlocal trials

We look forward to help grow this sport and watch teams have fun and enjoy their dog!

We have had the pleasure of working with quite a few of this quirky little herding breed!
Here are some of the reasons why we love them...
1) Mudi are vocal. These chatty Cathy's have A LOT to say, and will be sure they tell you all about it!
2) The colors. Mudi come in a variety of colors with some of the more popular ones being the merles. My personal favorites are brown and brown merle.
3) Their size! At around 20-30lbs the mudi makes a wonderful smaller dog that packs a powerful punch when it comes to sports.

The Mudi is an extremely versatile, intelligent, alert, agile, all-purpose Hungarian farm dog. Their courage is useful for working the most stubborn livestock.

This enthusiastic young lab is working on leash walking. A Gentle Leader with a safety clip is a great tool to help you along your journey. Gentle Leaders, or Head Haltis, work much like horse halters in that they control the head and, therefore, where the body goes.

Starting June 1st through August 31st enjoy early morning lessons!

Working dog aggression and reactivity often requires lots of outside time with strange or unfamiliar dogs and people. Unfortunately, trying to do this midday when it's hot and humid often isn't fair to the dog, and even worse we don't get to see a lot of triggers because everyone is inside cooling off.
For the next few months we are offering early morning lessons reserved exclusively for cases that need to be outside.

We had a great time hanging out with the dock dogs at in Freehold, NY on Sunday. We offered some Canine Good Citizen testing to keep the dogs busy while waiting their turn for the dock.

Looking to get your dog tested? We offer in person CGC, CGCA, and CGCU testing! Trick titles can be tested virtually and videos can be send via social media for testing and titling tricks.
