Our Story
The loss of a pet is like losing a special part in the heart of any family. At Angel Acrylics, we know first hand the pain of losing a loved one. We have created a way to commemorate your loved one and help a family in your community at the same time.
When Hunter Betts was 14 years old his best friend’s name was Taupe. One day he stepped off his school bus to find Taupe laying in the front yard. He had gotten out of the back yard and been struck by a car. His mother rushed home from work to take Taupe to the vet, where they found out both his legs were badly broken. As a single mother of three doing her best to get by, Taupe’s veterinary bills meant going deeper into debt.
Just prior to this incident, Hunter’s mother had filed for a patent on an invention. Hoping to profit from the invention, his mother was adamant about creating and donating to a charity that would help save families pets in hardship situations. Unfortunately, the invention never paid off and her charity never became a reality.
