Find the Feel The Unisit Strap is an ingenious tool to help riders of all levels "find the feel" for finally developing the elusive ideal seat for upper-level riding.
(1)

World-renowned and recommended by riders and trainers all over the globe, the Unisit can help you too! The Unisit Sit Strap System is made of reinforced safety-harness material. It attaches to the saddle's D-rings and wraps around the rider's back, down the inside of the thighs, around the horse's belly and over the saddle's girth. This sits the rider in the saddle properly while encouraging the h

orse's back to lift.

The Unisit is fully adjustable and will fit any size rider, saddle or horse. It works on both English saddles and Western saddles. The quick-release safety mechanism is activated with a quick pull of the wrist (or automatically when the rider becomes unbalanced), with the strap that is looped around the rider's wrist. Through muscle memory "imprint" training, the rider will achieve a better seat and ride the horse correctly with open hips, steady legs under the body, a relaxed and supple back, an open upper body, shoulders back with elbows, hands and head in the correct relaxed position and in balance. THE UNISIT SIT STRAP SYSTEM WILL HELP YOU DEVELOP:

• A correct seat, the anchoring center of all communications.
• An open, supple seat versus a perched, stiff seat.
• A seat where the rider is sitting correctly, with the lumbar and inner thigh muscles absorbing the motion of the horse's back.
• Clear and more correct aids by allowing the rider to focus on riding versus sitting.

From rider Heidi Terezakis: "The first time world-renowned trainer Niall Quirk put the Unisit system on me in a clinic, I was blown away. Tears actually came to my eyes!

I really could “feel the feel”, of what it’s like to sit deep, keep my legs back, and use my core without thinking about it.

After a 180lb weight loss, I struggle with strength, balance, and stability in the saddle. The Unisit has been a game-changer for me. Especially now, since my current horse has big gaits and requires a lot of core strength to ride him!”

I DID NOT KNOW... by Alissa Kelly

I did not know a horse could bring people into your life that end up meaning the most to you.
I did not know a horse could make the hardest days of your life bearable.
I did not know a horse could teach you to put others first.
I did not know a horse could remind you time and time again that your gut is always right.
I did not know a horse could break your heart.
I did not know a horse could pick you up when you have fallen apart.
I did not know a horse could teach you to dream again, after you thought it was not possible.
I did not know a horse could make you believe in yourself.
I did not know a horse could teach responsibility, work ethic, and dedication.
I did not know a horse could make you believe in something when no one else does.
I did not know a horse could make you learn to forgive and forget.
I did not know a horse could humble you faster than you can say humble.
I did not know a horse could make you a winner.
I did not know a horse could also teach you how to lose gracefully.
I did not know a horse could instill patience in you.
I did not know a horse could make you listen better.
I did not know a horse could give you their heart.
I did not know a horse could change your life.
I did not know a horse could do all these things...
but now I know. ❤️❤️

🐴👼🤎 The Unisit Sit Strap System is an amazing riding tool which is guaranteed to teach riders to sit in unison with their horses. The unique design improves muscle memory and seat development, consequently enhancing the horse's performance. Use of this system will bridge the gap between the description of a correct seat and actually feeling it by using a non-verbal, kinesthetic approach.

As in all activities involving horses, safety should always come first. The Unisit has been designed with an emergency quick-release. The rider wears a quick-release strap around the wrist. With a quick yank of the arm, or if the rider becomes unbalanced, the entire Unisit immediately disengages. The rider is instantly independent of the horse and the disengaged Unisit strap hangs harmlessly from the saddle and away from the horse's legs.

Trainers and riders enthusiastically rave about the "ah-ha!" moment when the rider is able to finally feel that ideal seat that has eluded them. The Unisit imprints the correct sitting position on the rider's muscle memory, to be duplicated once the strap is removed. Immediately, the horse relaxes and becomes more supple and through. The Unisit will work for you whether you are an amateur, trainer, FEI competitor, young rider, or therapeutic riding instructor.

From Rider Julia Harbers:

"The Unisit strap creates a feeling of being 'plugged into' the saddle through my seat bones which allows me to move as one with my horse. Each time I use the Unisit, I'm able to engage my deep core muscle (Psoas) and create muscle memory so that I can recreate that seat without the Unisit."

“I’ve been riding 30 years in other disciplines, but the seat required for dressage has eluded me.

The Unisit finally puts my body where my trainer wants it to be. Without “showing” my body how to sit, it’s been difficult to find.

Training with the Unisit allows my mind and my body to know how to sit and I can now replicate it when the Unisit comes off. Amazing!”

“Within two strides of using the Unisit is was a light bulb moment. I could distinctly feel each hind leg in my seat bones. The connection was miraculous. I could feel exactly which ab muscles I was not utilizing enough. My plan is to use it consistently until I can get that feel to translate over to when I am strapless.

I come from a hunter/jumper background and play a lot of polo. When I am concentrating hard I have a tendency to shift my pelvis and come up off my tack. It is so frustrating. I ride ba****ck and stirrupless on a lunge and can't seem to break the habit. I know what I am after and I understand the correct position, but couldn't quite get myself there. "

SAFETY FIRST!!

Latest comment from someone that doesn’t understand the Unisit training tool for riders:
“I bet it works, but that’s cheating.” Yes, it DOES work and we disagree that it’s “cheating”!

Using a training device along with good old-fashioned hard work to help your riding improve faster is like using a surcingle on your horse for groundwork – just a tool to help in training.

This doesn’t do the work for you, it helps you understand the work.

From Collegiate Athlete Coach & Trainer Jo-Anne Young:

"The college students love them and are finding immediate improvement in their seats. We have them warm up without them, then ride with them for about 15 - 20 minutes,

then ride another 10 minutes without them to see if their muscles are developing the right feel, so that they can carry the improvements on without the strap. That is proving to be HIGHLY successful.

Jacque was delighted to see how much the units helped, and to see that the straps are adjustable enough to work well on all sizes of horses and riders, both. We have everything in our herd from a 17.2 dressage horse to a 14-hand Azteca and riders who range from a tiny 4'10" to 6'2" and from VERY slim to larger.

One of our adjunct equestrian professors competes in dressage. She came over this afternoon with her horse to try the Unisit Strap. She was very impressed with how much it helped her seat stabilize enough to get amazing quality shoulder-in, travers, half pass and extended trot from her Fourth Level schoolmaster gelding - her horse looked very happy, too, and also got quite a bit more uphill in his canter work.

Words cannot express how happy I am to have this lovely tool to help riders' education and protect horses' backs. I am delighted Paula invented the unit and I am eager to see as many riders as possible nationwide use and benefit from this educational aid, for their sake AND for the horses' sake!"
