How it all began...
After a successful career in sales in Atlanta, I decided to move to St. Simons Island and open a Pet Sitting business.
So when I crossed over the last bridge of the FJ Torres Causeway, on February 6, 1994, it was 2:15 in the afternoon. I was heading for St. Simons Island, Georgia, in a U-Haul truck with a 1973 VW Beetle Bug in tow. I said a prayer in the cab of that truck to "Let go and Let God".
What an adventure I have been on ever since!
I have had the pleasure of caring for a plethora of pets including llamas, goats, iguanas, snakes, pigs and, of course, dogs and cats. I have given insulin shots and subcutaneous injections. I’ve been spit on by the llamas, bitten by a shepherd, scratched by numerous cats, and licked, smelled and loved by many.
This may not be a traditional career path but it's one that’s very rewarding to me. For each morning, noon and evening, I am met by the wag of a tail or the purr of a cat. I cater to the needs of animals and they respond in kind.
This business of mine is the most important thing I have ever done and I take the responsibility quite seriously. Not only have people trusted me with the care of their four-legged loved ones, they have welcomed me into their homes. For this I am humbled and would like to say "Thank you" to my clients.
I welcome the opportunity to serve you and your pets.
