In cherished memory of an adorable Maltese named Buddy. His family got him as a puppy and they had 14 years together. He was the sweetest boy and well loved by his whole family. They made so many memories with him through the years and his two human sisters grew up alongside him.

Buddy was not a fan of the car and was a big homebody. He didn’t like going anywhere and was happiest when he was close to home. He did not even like going outside and only went if one of his family members was with him. He liked to be inside, especially on the couch, and was a big snuggler.

His family took wonderful care of him, particularly when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. When his condition worsened, they only wanted what was best for him. Resting comfortably on the couch, surrounded by his loved ones, Buddy passed peacefully.

In loving memory of Beans, a sweet tuxedo cat. Beans found his forever home when he was a young adult, and with his mom he shared 8 wonderful years.

Beans’ story started when he was an outdoor cat being fed by a kind neighbor. When this neighbor was moving and needed to rehome the cats she took care of, Beans was connected with his soon-to-be mom. Beans’ mom had always wanted a cat of her own, and Beans came to her at just the right time. It did not take long for the two of them to form a deep bond that only grew as the years went on.

Beans was by his mom’s side through many important chapters of life. He went from (secretly) living in his mom’s dorm room to moving into a home where Beans’ dad and dog-brother were added to the family. Beans is remembered for his gentle, cuddly nature. He loved nothing more than to snuggle up with his loved ones, whether that was sleeping atop his mom’s head at night or curling up with his giant dog-brother, Captain. Beans was incredibly handsome with a unique tuxedo coat, chubby cheeks, and long whiskers and eyebrows that often tickled his mom’s face as he positioned himself as close to her as possible. Beans loved catnip and hanging out in his cat tree. Beans was a loyal companion and an adored member of the family who will be greatly missed.

When Beans’ health began to decline, his mom did everything she could to get him feeling well again. When Beans was no longer living the life his mom wanted for him, she made the difficult and loving decision to let him go. Beans closed his last chapter peacefully at home, knowing just how much he was loved. Rest in peace, sweet Beans.

In treasured memory of a handsome Dalmatian named Blaze. His parents got him as a puppy and they had 15 years together. He was such a sweet boy and a beloved family member. They went through so much with him and he was a wonderful companion.

Blaze spent time living in the city and enjoyed going for walks in his neighborhood. More recently, he moved to the suburbs where he had his own backyard. He traveled well and went on many trips to Door County and Tennessee with his family. He loved almost everyone except for his parents’ landlord and he was very friendly with other dogs.

His family took great care of him, especially as he grew older. When his health changed, they did not want him to suffer. Resting comfortably outside with his parents, Blaze passed peacefully.

In loving memory of a sweet cat named Stella. Her parents knew her since she was a kitten and they had 17 years with her. She was born outside their home in the city and hung around their neighborhood. She had a litter of kittens before they could catch her and she remained close with one of her sons. When her family was moving to the suburbs, they decided to bring the two of them with to their new home.

Stella was a sweet girl though she was very shy. After her son passed away, she came indoors permanently and became more affectionate with her parents. She would come around on her terms to sit with them and also liked to lay on the long end of the couch.

Her family took great care of her, especially when she developed multiple medical conditions. When her health declined, they made the selfless decision to let her go. Resting comfortably on the couch beside her parents, Stella passed peacefully.

In treasured memory of a handsome Husky mix named Oscar. His family got him as a puppy and they had 14 years together. He was the runt of his litter and kept getting overlooked. However, when his soon-to-be family came along, he was so excited to meet them and essentially made the decision for them.

Oscar was such a sweet boy and an important part of his family. They went through so much with him and he helped them through some difficult times. He loved everyone both human and canine. He was good with kids and always looked out for his brother. He enjoyed playing tug of war and liked to be chased.

His family took great care of him, especially as he got older. When his health declined, they made the loving decision to say goodbye. Resting comfortably at home with his family, Oscar passed peacefully.

In cherished memory of a sweet cat named Eve. Her mom got her when she was around 5 years old and they had 17 years together. She was such a beautiful girl with a black and white longhaired coat. She was the first cat and was not happy when her younger brother came along. However, she went on to share her home with other cats and dogs and coexisted with them all. When her dad joined her family, she became very close with him.

Eve had a great personality and was a wonderful companion to her parents. She loved to sit with them and was particularly good at blocking their view. They affectionately referred to her Creep or Creeper because of the many looks she would give.

Her family took wonderful care of her throughout her long life. When she developed multiple health issues, they did so much to help her and when she worsened, they did not want her to suffer. Resting comfortably at home with her parents, Eve passed peacefully.

In cherished memory of Max, a beloved 17-year-old Rat Terrier mix. Max’s mom brought him home when he was already in his adult years, and with his mom he lived the best 9 years of his life.

Max and his mom shared a special bond from the start. The day they met, all people and dogs at the shelter were assigned a colored sticker based on their personality. When Max and his mom first met, they both had the same sticker color. They clicked instantly and the rest was history. Max was smart, easygoing, and sweet. He was just as content to be a couch potato as he was to go on a walk and explore new territory. Max was a spry and energetic guy in his prime. He had a big personality that brought his loved ones so much joy. When it came time to wind down and get comfy, Max loved to burrow under layers of blankets and make a cozy bed for himself. Max was a loyal companion and an adored member of the family who will be deeply missed.

As Max grew older, his loved ones did everything they could to keep him happy and comfortable. When Max was no longer living the life his family wanted for him, they made the difficult and loving decision to let him go. Max closed his last chapter peacefully at home, surrounded by love. Rest in peace, sweet Max.

In loving memory of Penny. Penny was a mix of Pitbull and Labrador who favored the Pitbull and had a white tip on her tail. Penny spent the first few years of her life living in a small apartment. When Penny became too much for her first home, shelters were contacted. Unfortunately, the shelters did not have space for another Pitbull and feared she was being relinquished due to behavior issues. Fortunately, word got out and a new home heard of her through a co-worker. That was when Penny first met her mom and dad.

After having lived in a small apartment, Penny loved suddenly being in a home with a larger property to run and explore. Penny was very sweet and loving and made friends with everyone she met. When Penny wasn't roaming the property, she enjoyed staying close to her family and sleeping with them at night. A few years ago, Penny had a serious health scare. She had a severe case of pancreatitis which triggered diabetes. Her family did everything they could to help her through that. Fortunately, she did improve, but needed insulin injections the rest of her life. The diabetes did compromise her vision and Penny eventually became blind. Her family worried about how a now blind Penny would adapt to a new home when they moved more recently, but Penny explored the new home slowly feeling her way and settled in just fine.

Thanks to the wonderful care she received, Penny had 12 happy years. When her legs became weak and a diagnosis of Cushing's made it harder to control her diabetes, her family knew it was time to let her go. Penny passed peacefully at home with her family by her side.

In loving memory of Captain Meowgan, or Captain, a wonderful cat who found his forever home when he was just a kitten. His mom picked him out and brought him home as soon as he was old enough, where he quickly settled in.

Captain was a great cat right from the start, with a very loving and playful personality. He loved to play fetch with paper, and would bring it back for his mom to throw every time. Even though he loved his mom and he was a very sweet cat, he was always a bit wary and shy around strangers. He was a quirky boy that never liked any of the cat beds his mom got him, but was more than happy to crawl under the covers on the bed to cuddle at night.

Captain Meowgan was a constant companion and friend for over fourteen years, and gave his mom so many happy memories. When it came time to say goodbye, he passed peacefully at home with his mom right by his side. Rest in peace, dear Captain.

In loving memory of a handsome Puggle named Joe. Joe’s mom brought him home when he was already in his adult years, and together they shared 7 years full of cherished memories.

When Joe found himself in need of a second chance, his mom took him in as a foster to give him the love and care he needed. It did not take long for her to fall in love and decide that Joe was there to stay. It seems Joe was meant to find his mom; he fit in perfectly as he was the third of the same name in the family. Joe was 75% Pug and 100% adorable. His velvety soft ears and sweet snores added to his overall charm. Joe lived a cozy and well-spoiled life. He was the best road trip dog and often traveled to Florida where he spent the warm winters of his golden years. Joe had a bow tie for every occasion and was always dressed to impress. Joe loved snuggling up and spending quality time with his loved ones. He was a loyal companion and an adored member of the family who will be greatly missed.

21/06/2024

In loving memory of Walker. Walker was a large mixture of Boxer and Labrador with a fawn-colored coat and a white blaze down his nose. Walker found his way to a rescue when he was around one and from there, he was placed in a foster home with a man who was related to Walker's eventual dad. His foster dad posted pictures of his foster pups and when Walker's dad saw his pictures, he knew he wanted to meet him.

Walker's name at the time was Luke Skywalker which was a bit of a mouthful so his new family shortened it to Walker. However, whenever Walker was in trouble, which was rare, he was called Luke Skywalker Texas Ranger. When Walker first arrived in his new home, there were cats already living there. He got along well with the cats and tended to follow their lead. When he saw the cats jumping into the laps of his new mom and dad, Walker thought that was a great idea and followed suite. Though Walker thought it was a perfect fit, his mom and dad thought he was a bit too big. Over time, his mom and dad found the perfect couch for them. There was a seat for mom and dad and an attached chaise for Walker which fit him to a T.

At night, Walker enjoyed cuddling with his family and would always make sure to be close to his dad in their bed. His mom would end up with a small sliver of bed while Walker snored away. Sometimes, Walker would make little barking noises and act like he was running if he was having an exciting dream. Walker loved to chew on toys and his family subscribed to Bark Box to keep a constant supply on hand. No matter what his mood, he had a toy for it.

Walker did have a lot of energy and enjoyed going for long walks. He also would literally stop to smell the flowers while on his walks and enjoyed watching, not chasing, squirrels, rabbits and other animals. Walker loved other dogs and children. Whenever he saw another dog while on a walk, he would whine excitedly until he could go say hi. Whenever he came across children, he loved to say hello and lick their faces- they always had good tasting things on their faces.

Thanks to the wonderful care he received, Walker had 12 happy years. When he could no longer get around on his own and he started to have seizures, his family knew it was time to say goodbye. Walker passed peacefully at home, laying on his spot on the couch, with his family by his side.

In loving memory of an adorable Toy Poodle named Peluso. Peluso found his forever home when he was just a puppy, and together with his family he shared over 15 years.

Peluso had a larger-than-life personality that always made his loved ones smile. He loved vanilla ice cream, squeaky toys, and seeing how many times he could successfully escape his yard. Peluso was such a talented escape artist that local law enforcement knew him and his family by name, and knew exactly where he came from every time he was picked up. Peluso’s silly antics over the years have left his family with an endless supply of fond memories. Peluso was a loyal companion to his family through many chapters of life. His tiny paws have left an everlasting mark on the hearts of his loved ones.

When Peluso’s health declined, his family knew they did not want him to suffer and so made the difficult and loving decision to let him go. Peluso closed his last chapter peacefully at home, surrounded by love. Rest in peace, sweet Peluso.

21/06/2024

In loving memory of Gracie. Gracie was a Braque du Bourbonnais with a brown speckled coat and a deep, loving connection with her family. Gracie joined her family as a young puppy. In her younger years, her head was mostly brown with a white blaze on top. Her family referred to that blaze as her kissing spot.

Gracie was very tuned into her family and could sense if anyone was upset or in need and would go to that person to offer comfort. She enjoyed cuddling and being close to her family also. Gracie had a tiara she wore every birthday and would wear costumes for Halloween. Her family referred to her as their Precious Puppy Princess. Whenever they had to give her a bath, they would tell her it was time to put her necklace back on and she would go to her collar.

When Gracie was outside, she had boundless energy. Her dad took her hunting once and Gracie did great flushing birds, pointing and running all over, but dad decided it wasn't for him. Gracie did find and flush rabbits and birds in her back yard. She loved going to the dog park and would start excitedly vocalizing when they got near. Then she would forget her people and sprint around the park.

Once, as if she remembered her person was there too, she hopped onto the picnic table next to her family and sat pretty like a statue after burning through some of her energy. When she was 6 months old, she flushed and killed a pigeon at the dog park which she then proudly presented to her family. Gracie actually seemed offended when her gift was tossed over the fence.

Thanks to the wonderful care she received, Gracie had a remarkable 16 happy years. When her legs were struggling and advanced age took the joy out of life, her family knew it was time to let her go. Gracie passed peacefully at home with her family by her side.

21/06/2024

In loving memory of Remy. Remy was a large and loving Golden Retriever. Remy came to his family as a young puppy and ended up growing more than expected. Remy was very loving and was friends with everyone he met. He loved attention and could never get enough petting, and he also enjoyed having his foot held.

Remy had a lot of plush toys which he would carry around and suckle on until he completely saturated them with his saliva. Though he was big enough to counter surf, he knew the things on the counter were not for him. He would go to the counter and sniff all of the special, forbidden things and then stare at his family hoping for a treat. Whenever he knew something special was coming, he would drool like a leaky faucet.

At night he enjoyed sprawling across the foot of the bed; he didn't seem to mind if his family had to sleep curled up. For as much as Remy enjoyed cuddles inside, he loved to play outside. He loved playing in snow and especially loved swimming. His family had a pool in the back yard and when he was around 1 year old, he decided to check it out. His family was surprised when they realized that he was chilling in the pool. Remy's family also had a boat and Remy loved to run the length of the boat and dive off the back.

Though Remy's family had other dogs, they were smaller and not a fan of playing with him. When Remy's neighbor brought home a Labrador puppy, Remy thought it was great and enjoyed play dates with his neighbor.

When Remy started to not act quite right, his family was devastated to learn that he had aggressive cancer at only 7 years old. When his cancer quickly made him unable to walk on his own, they knew they had to let him go. Remy passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

In loving memory of Hunter, a beloved black cat who joined his family with his twin brother when they were about nine months old. The pet store was trying to adopt out all the black cats before Halloween rolled around, so their family agreed to take both together.

The two boys were great buddies all throughout their lives. They loved to run around outside and hunt in a pack, though Hunter was usually in charge of the show. He was a wonderful cat who loved his mom so much. He was friendly with the rest of the family, and often greeted them with headbutts when they came to her room, but she was his person.

Hunter had a rough time after his brother passed away, and not long after, his family could see him struggling as well. After a great life full of love and happiness, Hunter passed peacefully at home with his family all around him. Rest in peace, dear Hunter.

In loving memory of a beautiful Morkie named Lulu. Lulu’s mom brought her home when she was just a puppy, and together they shared 14 years full of cherished memories.

Lulu was tiny in size but not in spirit. She was so small, in fact, that when she was a puppy her mom had to wait a while longer than expected to bring her home. During that time, she would regularly come visit Lulu and bring her a sock with which to play. Lulu had a heart of gold and beautiful golden locks to match. She loved to spend her mornings sunbathing in the yard. Lulu lived a well-spoiled life during which she always knew just how much she was cared for and adored. Lulu was a loyal companion to her mom for many chapters of life during the years they shared together. She will be greatly missed.

When Lulu’s health declined, her mom knew she did not want her to suffer and so made the selfless and loving decision to let her go. Lulu closed her last chapter peacefully at home, lying in her mom’s lap. Rest in peace, sweet Lulu.

Mollie, an 11-year-old Aussie mix affectionately nicknamed "Mutt", joined our family 5 years ago through a truly fateful connection. She was our best friend, running buddy, road trip companion and attentive "big sister". Mollie enjoyed frequent long walks where she befriended every neighbor willing to stop and offer a pet (or treat). She was our weekend warrior who joined us on countless local adventures: dog beaches, hiking trails, coffee shops, breweries and restaurant patios. Mollie also road tripped with us to explore Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. She will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts.

In cherished memory of Baxter, a beloved 17-year-old cat. Baxter found his forever family when he was 8 years old, and with them he lived the best years of his life.

When Baxter found himself in need of a new home, his family welcomed him with open arms and with them he lived a life full of so much love and care. Baxter was always a very handsome cat with an expressive face and big ears that added to his charm. He was quite an opinionated cat who could not hide his attitude even if he tried. Baxter knew what he liked and was not afraid to ask for it, whether that was treats or his favorite lap lounging spot. Baxter was not a lap cat in the traditional sense, but he greatly enjoyed laying atop a pillow placed on a lap. Whenever one of his humans got comfy on the couch, Baxter would stare at them until his pillow was placed in their lap so that Baxter could get snuggled up in his spot. Baxter was a loyal companion and a treasured member of the family who will be greatly missed.

When Baxter’s health declined, his family knew they did not want him to suffer and so made the difficult and loving decision to let him go. Baxter closed his last chapter peacefully at home, with his loved ones by his side. Rest in peace, sweet Baxter.

In treasured memory of a beloved 17-year-old Mini Schnaupin named Echo. Echo found her forever family when she was just 9 months old, and with them she shared many years full of cherished memories.

When Echo’s family first came to meet available shelter pets, they were envisioning coming home with a cat. They decided to visit the dog room on a whim, and as soon as Echo’s soon-to-be mom sat down, Echo came running to her lap as though to say she was choosing them. They took Echo home and she turned out to be the best choice they could have made. Echo had characteristic eyebrows and big bat ears that were the inspiration for her name. Echo was small in size but certainly not in personality. She was known in the neighborhood and always recognized while out on walks - even if her humans didn’t get the same recognition. Echo loved to sniff around and investigate her surroundings almost as much as she loved to request food and snacks from anyone willing to share. Echo accompanied her family through many chapters of life, going wherever they went and always bringing a smile to their faces. Echo was a loyal companion, a loving big sister, and an adored member of the family. Her tiny paws have left a giant mark on the hearts of her loved ones.

When Echo’s age caught up to her and she was no longer living the life her family wanted for her, they made the difficult and loving decision to let her go. Echo closed her last chapter peacefully at home, knowing just how much she was loved. Rest in peace, sweet Echo.
