Coastal Zoom Groom Mobile Pet Spa

Coastal Zoom Groom Mobile Pet Spa is a local independent one-woman owned-and-operated business serving towns along the Oregon coast including Langlois, Port Orford, Bandon, and Gold Beach. With a completely newly renovated van, we bring our fully-equipped mobile grooming salon directly to your home to provide high-quality full-service grooming for your pets with added convenience for you. The van is designed to be fully operable on its own with electricity, air conditioning, heat, and water and needs no outside electrical or water hookups.

Our priority is to always make your pet’s grooming experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we strive to create a relationship with each client and animal that is under our care while we learn every individual’s specific needs. Only top-of-the-line, environmentally-friendly products with no harsh chemicals are used as we are conscientious of taking care of our beautiful homeland in addition to your furry family members.

About the Owner & Groomer, Kathy Lafayette

Coming out of high school, Kathy worked as a Bather and Finisher in shops in Tennessee and the San Francisco Bay Area but later veered away from this profession as the course of her life changed and she had to care for her family. After working for many years in the corporate world, Kathy’s lifelong love for dogs eventually led her back to what had always been her dream and passion: pet grooming. After her kids grew up, she went back to dog grooming school, where she graduated in 2005 and became a professional Pet Groomer. Kathy spent over nine years running a very successful grooming business out of a veterinary hospital, until 2017 when she moved to Oregon and decided to launch Coastal Zoom Groom.

Kathy is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR through the PetTech PetSaver program and is also an American Kennel Club Safety Certified Groomer. She attends national grooming education seminars and grooming expositions as often as possible to continue furthering her knowledge and to keep up with the latest trends, tools, equipment, and best practices of the industry.
