Kai is a 2 year old small fox red male. Currently weighing in at 54 lbs. Did show pointing tendency when he was a pup but never pursued it. His sire Rascal was QAA. In limited breedings (5) Rascal produced 2 National Champions. Kai is currently running to the pile and working on casting. Not quite on the T pattern yet. Runs hard on marks. Loves birds. Tango is available. He is currently 6 months old and is working on FF and obedience. He will likely mature to be about 70 to 75 lbs. Should be ready for hunting season Oct 24.

Wally is 5 years old. He has a sweet temperament and gets along well with people and other dogs.He is about 77 lbs. Wally is steady, marks multiples and runs simple blinds. He has been lightly hunted.. He is scheduled for a neuter in 2 weeks. He will come neutered, microchipped and current on shots and worming. He can be left until Sept 1st for more tune ups if desired (we can discuss). Message me for more info.

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great May and what do you know, HUNTING SEASON IS AROUND THE CORNER!! I often get asked what is the most frustrating thing about training gun dogs. Simply put, its that some folks wait until the last minute to get ready. August rolls around and people pull out the decoys and the boat and start making repairs and updates. That doesnt work so well with your hunting dog. Especially if you retired your dog last spring. DONT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO LOOK FOR A GUN DOG!! If you wait until Aug or Sept or Oct, most available dogs are already committed to new homes by then. So if you are thinking Fido might have had his last hunting season, or even if he is pushing to the end of his/her working years, now is the time to start getting ready for not only 2024's hunting season but also the hunting season of 2025. I will have several started dogs available from now through the summer. If you are wanting a finished dog, I need to know NOW. Training these dogs doesnt happen overnight. So give me a call if you are looking or might be looking. I take a 50% deposit and the balance is due when the dog is ready to go home. I currently have or will have males of every color and a couple of females possibly. Whether you buy a dog from me or else where, dont wait until the end of summer to get into hunting mode.
