Adoptable Sparky is getting ready for the cold weather in his precious little sweater 🥹❄️

This sweet boy has been with us for nearly a year as he needed several months to decompress and learn how to trust people again. He was dumped in the freezing cold on a volunteer’s farm, and based on his behavior, we are certain he was mistreated 😡 Despite his difficult circumstances, Sparky has come so far and blossomed into the gentle, loving boy you see today.

Sparky’s favorite activity is hanging on the couch with his foster family, and he loves playing with people and other dogs! He is great with other dogs, kids, and cats. He can be a bit nervous around dogs that are bigger than him, but does great once he has time to warm up. He is potty and crate trained. Sparky is about 1-2 years old and about 35lbs, the perfect medium sized dog!

Sparky is looking for a patient home that will give him time to adjust and warm up to his new surroundings. With love and patience, he is the sweetest, most gentle boy ❤️

🆘WINTER WEATHER ALERT🆘
Prepare NOW to Keep Your Pets Safe!

With extreme cold and potential winter weather on the way, NOW is the time to gather supplies and make a plan for your pets! Stores are already selling out of STRAW, so if you need supplies and other necessities, please act quickly to ensure your animals are safe and warm.

⚠️Tips for Pet Owners:⚠️
1) Bring pets INDOORS or provide them with a secure, insulated shelter.
2) Make sure you have enough food, water, and any medications your pets may need in case you are not able to travel.
3) Keep outdoor trips short and monitor for signs of frostbite or hypothermia.

If you see an animal in distress PLEASE call your local animal control or law enforcement!!

🖤🤍Meet Shadow!🤍🖤

Shadow is a happy, confident, and smart boy! He has lots of energy and he loves to play. He is looking for an active family who will give him lots of attention and is looking for a home with a fenced-in yard (or land that is safe for him to run around on). Shadow is a Jack Russell mix and is about 1.5 years old.

Shadow's favorite activities include playing with his foster dog siblings, eating, and chewing on his chew toys.

Shadow is extraordinarily smart and would benefit from a family who is interested in training him as well as playing. He is fully crate and potty trained, and is doing well learning to walk on a leash. He does best with a harness.

Shadow does great with other dogs and kids. However, we recommend older children for Shadow given his high-energy nature. He has not been around cats before, but we would recommend him to be in a cat-free home given his breed mix and energy level.

Shadow is fully vetted: neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for HW.

Junior watched yesterday as all three of his brothers got adopted, and now he’s wondering when it will be his turn! While we couldn’t be happier for his brothers, our hearts ache a little for Junior who is still waiting for his own happily ever after. Could you be the family this sweet boy has been waiting for? We’d love to see him be our first cat adoption of 2025!

Junior is a super friendly, social baby! He loves to be held like a baby and is often found curled up near his foster family. He loves to play with other cats and he LOVES dangly toys! He would be great for a family with children, and is also comfortable living with dogs.

As we get ready to say goodbye to 2024, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all we have accomplished this year 🎉

In this year alone, we took in over 100 animals, and we also found forever homes for 140 cats and dogs! As a very tiny, foster-based rescue, we are incredibly proud of these numbers. This represents a MASSIVE amount of time, dedication, and love from our volunteers. For every animal we took in, we had a foster family willing to open up their home and hearts to an animal in need ❤

We also supported nearly 500 spays and neuters via our low-cost voucher program. We appreciate every single person who chooses to spay and neuter as this is the only way we can slow down the overpopulation crisis we are currently facing. We also want to thank the Animal Clinic and their team for continuing to support this program even though it keeps them busy! 😽

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our mission. Whether you've donated, fostered, transported an animal, helped set up events, referred someone to us for adoption, or even shared our posts on social media, you've made a difference. We are a volunteer-only organization, so we quite literally could not exist without our volunteers, and we cannot thank you enough!

As a non-profit, we rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters to keep doing what we do. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help us start 2025 strong. 🥳💜PUPDATE!!💜🥳 OZZY HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! 😭🎉😭🎉 He is alive and doing well!! He was wet, dirty, and shivering; but his uncle took him home and he had a nice warm bubble bath. 🛀 🫧

Ozzy’s mom said a young lady watched him walk out of the woods last night where the family had searched multiple times!!

Sooooooo many happy, happy tears and answered prayers for this little guy and as his mama said, “He has 109 lives!!” 🙈💜

Thank you to each and every person that shared, prayed, and helped look for this sweet little guy!!

These sweet boys are in need of a forever home! Dean, Junior, Bobby, and Clyde have such wonderful personalities and are adorable too ❤️ they are fully vetted and are suited to live in a home with dogs, kids, and other cats!

✨Dean is a big baby with the most expressive face! He loves to be picked up and cuddled/carried around by his foster mom, and will sometimes even ask to be picked up! He is very playful and fun!

✨Junior is also a cuddly little boy! Like Dean, he is quite playful but a little more laid back overall. He enjoys playing with pretty much anything, even plain ole cardboard, but will curl up with you when playtime is done!

✨Bobby is a handsome, sleek boy! He really enjoys to he picked up and cuddled, but is more independent than Dean or Junior. Bobby is the epitome of a void. You often won’t know he’s lurking about until he makes a playful strike for an unsuspecting kitty or body part.

✨Clyde is the most independent of his siblings, preferring to snuggle with his mama (Cece, also adoptable!) or his banana. However, don’t let this fool you! He is very funny and goofy, and his foster mom says he is basically an orange cat trapped in a non-orange body! He loves a good scratch near his tail.

These stunning girls are still in search of their forever home! Penelope, Prentiss, and Maeve are the softest, sweetest girls. They are so confident and fun, and would be suited for homes with dogs, kids, and other cats.

Penelope and Maeve are stunning dilute calicos, and Prentiss has the classic calico coloring. They are so beautiful, and we can’t believe they haven’t been snatched up!

It is their foster mom’s dream to see these girls adopted as a trio ❤️
