What’s your favorite color? Let me guess, is it Blue?

I hope so because my name is Blueberry, Blue for short! I am about 17 weeks old. My ears sometimes stand up, sometimes hang low, they have not yet decided on what they will do. It will be a surprise for both of us. What makes me so sweet? I am a dash of Austrailan Cattle Dog, a pinch of Siberian Husky, a touch of Border Collie and a drizzle of Kelpie and about 15 other breeds. I will be a medium sized dog when I am all grown up. I have been living with my foster mom, a positive reinforcement trainer in the Spokane area making me a turn-key puppy! I have been learning and growing at a fast rate! I have been socializing with all kinds of dogs from big to little, old to young and I LOVE them all! I have also been on many field trips to visit pigs, sheep and goats. Cats are my friends too! I have no allergies; I ride in a car quiet as can be. I sleep all night in my crate with no accidents so you can sleep all night too. I love my crate! I eat my food fast so I need a slow feeder bowl. I share my food and toys. I have met all kinds of people and there has not been one I haven’t liked yet. Children make me so happy! I am perfect at the vet and groomer. Getting my nails trimmed is easy-peasy. I have been getting them trimmed for weeks. Getting vaccines is also easy, but don’t worry, I have had all I need except Rabies which is included in my adoption. I am also already spay so no need to fuss with that. I come when called and LOVE my “atta girls” and cookies when I do! I know, I sound amazing. It’s true, I am! I must be fully transparent and admit, I am not fully potty trained. I am well on my way but not 100% yet. That is my only flaw but I am sure you understand. I will need routine, many potty breaks and cookies to finish my training. Were you looking at me?

Let me properly introduce myself. My name is Gooseberry, Goose for short. I am about 17 weeks old. My foster mom sent in a DNA test and it came back that I am a perfect mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Siberian Husky, Border Collie, Kelpie and about 15 other breeds. I am predicted to be a medium sized dog, so taking me places is a breeze. I have been living with my foster mom who is a positive reinforcement trainer in the Spokane area. I have been learning, socializing and growing so much! I have been around so many dogs, all sizes, breeds, shapes, colors and energy levels. I LOVE them all! I have met many people and there hasn’t been one I haven’t liked. Children are so much fun to be around too! Oh, how I love kids! I have also had the pleasure of meeting cats, sheep, goats and pigs. I consider them all friends. I am fully crate trained and find that it is a wonderful place to take naps. I sleep through the night quietly with no accidents so you can sleep good too. I have had lots of practice with baths and nail clippings, so I am easy to freshen up. Going to the vet? I think it’s a place to get yummy treats. Vaccines are easy peasy but don’t worry, you won’t have to go anytime soon. I am fully up to date with vaccines and have had a few delicious syringes of dewormer. I am also already spay. I have been working on my leash manners and love the “atta girls” and cookies as my rewards. I fall asleep to the hum of a car so if you want to take trips with me, I’m game! I have no allergies, and I do not mind sharing my food or toys with others. I am incredibly photogenic so we already know who will be on your Christmas card this year. What is my downside? The only thing I can think of is I am not 100% potty trained. I am getting there, but may need a routine, plenty of potty breaks and treats for my good behavior. Other than that, I am a “turn key” kind of puppy. All the hard stuff has been done for you. Now it’s just time to open your heart and let me in! Ok, maybe buy a crate and some toys. I like toys. There is not much difference before the field trip and after the field trip. The pups have great behavior on the bus coming and going. They know the drill and wait patiently. It's a quiet ride both ways. So proud of them!

Can you imagine all 20 dayCARE dogs going for a walk?

Since we have the Waggin' Wagon, why don't we include pack walks. I researched gear and must haves and now the only thing left to do is practice. Yes, practice. Walking a group of dogs is a whole different feeling than walking 1 or 2. Plus, we need to get to know the new leash system from Tiny Horse. I must say it was a circus starting out but once we got going, everything came together. We are also learning new trails and scoping out other areas to make our pack walk the most fun and safe they can be. The forest, the air, the smells and the quiet was good for us all. Check it out!
