Outer Banks Dog Club Agility and Obedience Training for Dogs Outer Banks Dog Club is a private indoor dog training facility for all level trainers and their dogs.

We've had a lot happening at the club!

Here's a look back at late spring an early summer at the club. We've had lots of fun in Puppy, Obedience, Rally, and Agility classes and private sessions. Thanks to all our participants, we're looking forward to a lot more learning with everyone.

Congratulations to our members who continue to achieve in the competitive world of dog sports and breed shows. We are proud of you and hope more of our trainers will be inspired to consider participating in competitions and give it a go.

Thanks so much to Blanche for her continued tutelage in our advanced agility class. Every winter these trainers look forward to her visits and the skills, drills and thrills of running their dogs through challenges she sets up. We are so fortunate and grateful to MJ Thuot for once again inspiring our trainers to try Nose work. Watching these beginners learn and grow scenting skills over a short period of time with her is amazing and led to passing marks for all on their final exam.

Many trainers who have taken her classes have been inspired to continue to more advanced searches and trial with their dogs. We hope these groups will consider giving it a go. Well done!

As we endure the last blast of winter weather, we'd like to share with you some warm wonderful moments from the last couple months at OBDC. 2024 is shaping up to be a fun-filled year. Thanks to all our participants, instructors and volunteers.

As 2023 comes to a close we would like to thank our students and participants for your enthusiasm and support throughout the year. It's been so much fun working with all of you. We hope you continue to build your bond with your dog(s) and enjoy your journey with them.

And thanks so much to all our instructors who give so much of their time and inspire so many dog owners in our community. There is learning, love and laughter in every class you teach. We are truly grateful!

We wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday!

ROXY ROCKS AS SHE REACHES NEW HEIGHTS.... OBDC welcomed back Cyd and Roxy to agility practice this week. Roxy didn’t miss a step with regards to her tunnel work, she absolutely loves the tunnels!! She was a little hesitant on the Dog Walk and A-Frame, but after Cyd worked with her, she went from uncertain to unstoppable as you will see in this clip. We’re looking forward to our new Recreational Agility Class starting next week and encourage all dog owners to keep building your relationship with your dog by focusing on fun through training. Hope to see you soon!

Anniegram 3 As summer draws to a close we would like to thank all who have participated and supported OBDC. We're so happy to have so many interested in training and having fun with their dogs. We would like to celebrate the end of our summer season by sharing Anniegram 3 featuring many of our members and students. It's always hard to edit video and include everyone, so if we've missed anyone in Anniegram 3, stay tuned for future features. We're proud of each and every one of you! Last but not least, a very special thank you to Becky for her knowledge, guidance, and kindness from the beginning. We couldn't have done it without you. Schedules for Fall/Winter classes and seminars will be posted soon. Enjoy!

Established in 2013, Outer Banks Dog Club is a climate-controlled indoor dog training/practice facility for all level trainers and all age dogs. We are located in Nags Head, NC.
