Lexi's Story: This past Father's Day we found a dog who we thought got hit by a car because he was limping. We brought him in to the vet and it turns out he had cancer. We had to put Buddy down because we couldn’t afford the surgery and after surgery care. The vet told us that many people can’t afford it as well. We believe Buddy's old family couldn’t care for him after they found out, choosing to abandon their dog. We don’t know Buddy’s name before but he died with a name. Please help me support other families who can’t afford to help their pets.
*** Lexi is my 15 year old step daughter. After our day with this special dog, she decided that "Buddy" needed to help save other pets so she wanted to do this fundraiser. All money collected will be put to use with clinics and rescues in order to help keep pets healthy and happy.
Non profit status is our goal as we move forward. This is an honest fundraiser with hopes of not only bringing in money but also creating awareness.
