We took SDiT Oakley on a field trip today. To work on public access training and proofing his obedience. As you can hear in the video a woman walks in and starts baby talking to him. I'm super proud of Oakley as this was not planned. This person just walked up and started baby talking him.. As a service dog he can not break sit, down or under command. Awesome job Oakley... Taking SDIT Oakley for a walk in the rain. People ask all the time about service dog training vs. pet training. This is one of the differences between the two. Service dogs must be trained in all types of weather. Pets do not. A service dog has to do its job anywhere, anytime. A pet can go out when the rain stops!. Service dog trainers work in all types of weather all hrs of the day and night. Pet dog trainer work 8-5 Monday-Friday and some Saturday...
