With Halloween only being a few days away, I thought it was only fitting that we talk about Christmas 😂 Actually I’m not one to rush holidays. I find it annoying that’s there’s Christmas stuff up in stores in Sept. I believe that each holiday deserves its place and season on the calendar so I’m not trying to rush your brooms and pumpkins out of the way. But….i do need to talk about preorders because we need to order trees for wreaths, garlands and evergreen boxes. So I wanted to announce that we will have all the fancy one of a kind wreaths available on 12/7 at our open house which coincides with the NEW CHRISTMAS MARKET on the Gallatin Square that day. We will also be opening preorders on 11/7 at 9am for those wanting fresh evergreens wreaths or cedar evergreen boxes again this year. If you want to make sure you get one, ORDER EARLY and you can pick up on 12/7 (we are working on possibly before that but we have to secure our greens and trees). Last year we sold out. If you could answer a quick question for us….do you like decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving, right after or the first week of December? This will help with the preorder availability. Apple & Dove. Where did that name come from?
We get this question a lot.
I’ve always been obsessed with names. Baby Names, Celebrity Names, Characters in stories. They personalize the soul. Naming that special person that lives inside the body. I believe assigning a name to someone or something makes it real. Assigns belonging and allows it to be loved. Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of owning a farm. I wanted the red barn, the wooden fence, the wispy grass blowing the wind, chickens running around and to spend my days around all the animals. I wanted days where you worked hard, under the bright blue sky spilled with fluffy white clouds, listening the the trees leaves rustling in the wind, where we would sit around as a family, eat meals together, have bonfires and just….live. This dream was so vivid and unrelenting. When getting serious about purchasing a farm, we decided to name it, to bring it to “life” (metaphorically). It allowed the dream, “our farm” to be something worth fighting for. To save for. To imagine. Knowing we would have both animals and crops, and being theological nerds, we decided to pick straight out of the Bible. Garden and Animals…two stories stand out. Garden of Eden and Noah and the Ark. Apple and Dove are the symbols that spoke to us. The apple stands for fertility, new beginnings, beauty and hope for prosperity. The Dove: peace and love. So we decided that this name was perfect, love, beauty, peace…what more could you want? And so Apple and Dove was born. The best part, is when we finally found our beautiful farm, it was tucked away on a little road called Peaceful Valley. Perfection 💐🥰

New here? Welcome. 💐We are Apple & Dove Flower Company! 💐 We are a flower shop 🌷 located in the heart of downtown historic Gallatin ❤️ A couple of cool things about our shop are:
1.) We grow A LOT of our own flowers. 🌻 We believe strongly in local flowers, not only because it’s great for the environment (bees love us) which helps our local food supply chain. If that wasn’t cool enough the quality, freshness and cool varieties and colors we offer is another HUGE PERK! A lot of gorgeous flowers can’t be shipped well enough to maintain quality and the consumer suffers. So we’ve solved that and just grow them for you. NBD. #2.) We have the BEST employees. Well it’s me and Mike…and the goats. But we try really really hard and try to roll with life. We do quality work but also try to have fun. #3.) After being a flower farm for 3+ years we are now a FULL FLORIST! 💐 Meaning we offer arrangements for everyday, special occasion, events and weddings. We’ve done a lot this year and it’s been amazing. 4.) We offer CLASSES! That’s right…we have an adorable classroom where we create, learn and play with all kinds of flowers. We offer multiple classes throughout the month and you can even book a PRIVATE CLASS for a birthday party, shower, Mothers Night Out or Team Building Session 5.) We have really cool flower options that a lot of other florists don’t have. We offer “Floriography” Bouquets where the recipient has to decide their message! Flowers are so cool and deserve so much more attention to detail than a premade wrap at your local box store. 6.) We love our flowers and love our people. We try really hard to make flowers a part of daily lives through our refillable jars and community building options. We love getting to know our customers and building their trust to allow our flowers to tell their stories! So come and see us! We’d love to see you. We’ve all seen the movie, and we all know the song but now it’s time for your kiddos to get in on the action! Join us for a fun floral craft, in our adorable flower shop in historic downtown Gallatin. Every child will be given roses to paint, so the queen won’t get mad but we can’t promise what will happen when she stops by….Picture ops and fun to be had by all. Each child takes home painted roses, a small bud vase and fun memories. Bring your cameras!

Frostmas may be coming but we are going to do our very best to tuck those flowers away as long as we can! However, we are cutting every stem out there in hopes of finding them good homes for people to enjoy. We also have a lot of pumpkins from another local farm and we need to move those too. Fortunately this is not our first rodeo and our pumpkin bouquets are well known.
