🎇 RS Ansioso and Hailey Crump taking home RESERVE CHAMPION in the 1.0 Jr/Am Jumpers
🎇 Santino VT and Rachel Fitts taking home RESERVE CHAMPION of the Middle Aged Adult Hunters, Qualifying for Adult Hunter Finals ✔️
🎇 Fais Un Reve and Lily Malouf taking home 3rd in the 1.25 NAL Jr/Am Classic and great trips in the 1.20s
🎇 Rocket Man and Caroline Kelly taking home 2nd in the 1.0 Jr/Am Classic

The Gulfport Winter Series has always meant many things to our friends and families who show with us at STF: new beginnings, new partnerships, new friendships and most of all hard work paying off. No one in our circle knew that more than Mother Wilkie. Wednesday, March 12th, Mother Wilkie was called home to be with all of our friends in heaven (two and four legged). She was an enigma, always reminding everyone to be the very best they could be inside and outside of the show ring but never forget that it was supposed to be a little fun when the time came to have fun. As we’ve continued to strive to hold ourselves to her blue ribbon standard this weekend, our aisle seems a bit quieter, missing our fearless Mother Wilkie and her presence dearly already. We ask you continue to pray for Paul, Wilkie and Mayrant as they look for peace through this process and to continue to pray for Santino and Gibby - the horses Mother Wilkie loved near and dear to her heart.

🌟 Power H and Lindsay Skermetta - RESEVE CHAMPIONS of the 1.10 Jr/AM Jumpers and 3rd in the NAL 1.10 Classic

Southern Traditions had a GREAT weekend across the street kicking off the .official show year 🤩🥳👏🏻. We had so much fun in all 3 rings, a huge thank you to all of our moms, dads and cheerleaders who helped us all weekend long!
Highlights include:
🌸 Naomi and Loafer’s Lodge Darling Edwin - CHAMPION in Xrails to Vertical, CHAMPION in Mini Stirrup and RESERVE CHAMPION Canter Xrails
🌸 Sarah Ann and Splash - RESERVE CHAMPION Xrails to Vertical
🌸 Salma and Tuxedo - RESERVE CHAMPION Trot Xrails, RESERVE CHAMPION Xrails to Vertical
🌸 Maddie and Trigger - competed in their FIRST SHOW with STF and took home a WIN 🏆 in the canter Xrails
🌸 Avery and Cadbury - competed in their FIRST SHOW with STF and took home 2nd in their equitation flat
🌸 Maddie and Limerick’s Miss Dolly - moved up to the Xrails to Vertical and Mini Stirrup and was awarded the Academy Sportsmanship Award 💕 WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT!
🌸 Sela and Patchwork Seagull - had a GREAT first show together taking home the WIN in the Xrails flat
🌸 Alex and Contento Jowe - FIRST SHOW in the .60 jumpers taking home 5th!
🌸 Corinne and Big Bird - FIRST SHOW with STF and coming home with FAST 💨 and clear rounds in the .70/.76
🌸 Rachel and Comet LBF having great trips in the Open 2’6 Hunters, Pre Ch/Ad Hunters, finished 6th in the Equitation Challenge on the flat

It was a divide and conquer weekend with Saturday Funday at home with CB and Susan on the road for the first Krewe show in Gulfport 🐎🏆👏🏻🤩 a huge congrats to Elizabeth Ann and Coolio taking home Champion and Reserve Champion in the 2’6 Hunters and to McKay Criswell and Olympic Legacy for taking the WIN in the High Schooling Classic 🥳🥳 ready to keep showing this weekend .official ! The STF family is celebrating the life of Spoon River Lew aka Lew who left us after a wonderful life yesterday. After a wonderful career on the track as well as participating as a horse for Mississippi College, he found a home with who loved him until his last days. We are thankful for everyone who loved and cared for Lew and appreciate the prayers for Sharon, Charlie and their families during this time.

Just hear those slay 🔥🏆 bells ringling 🔔👏🏻🤩 we had a BLAST this weekend at the EXEL Winter Wonderland Show in Germantown ☃️🎄! We are so proud of everyone’s rides, horsemanship in the barn and most of all their sportsmanship! A HUGE congratulations to:
☃️ Rachel Fitts and Comet LBF, WINNERS of the $500 EXEL Equitation Championship - they brought in an 85 into the workoff and kept the lead through the flat phase! They also were 7th in the EXEL Hunter Derby, CHAMPIONS of the 2’6 Open Hunter Division and 1st in the Talent Search Medal
☃️ Anna Bagley and Tuxedo, CHAMPIONS of the Rusty Stirrup AND the combined Rusty/Very Green Classic!
☃️ Naomi Siddall and Loafer’s Lodge Darling Edwin took home RESERVE CHAMPION of the Mini Stirrup Division and finished 3rd in the Mini Stirrup Classic
☃️ Hope Henry and Quintessential took home RESERVE CHAMPION in the 2’3 Hunters and finished 3rd in the Equitation - she was also just out of the ribbons in the EXEL Hunter Derby!
☃️ Maddie Forbes and Liscormick Dolly took home the WIN in the Beginner WTC Xrail Classic and 2nd in the Equitation O/F
☃️ Jordan Kay and Broadcast Legend took home the WIN in the 2’ Medal and finished 4th overall in the $250 Thoroughbred Stake
☃️ Hart Hines and Sobe It took home second in the .70 Classic and had great trips in the division
☃️ SaraAnn Pittman and Splash took home 3rd overall in the Mini Stirrup Equitation, 4th in the Equitation O/F and 6th in the Mini Stirrup Classic
☃️ Alex Enos and Ricardo had a great first time in the jumpers finishing with great trips in the Xrail Jumpers!
☃️ Silbey Harper Brown and Loafer’s Lodge Darling Edwin took the hearts of the crowd with her leadline performance - capturing 1st in the class!

If you are wanting to dabble in the jumpers during the week and go into the hunters on the weekend - he is it. Wanting to hack out in the field alone? He’s game! Rider can’t see a distance? He will make one happen. This is the horse every trainer wishes was in their barn! He goes in a snaffle, good change, clips, loads, mom approved and all for the price of a cookie. We really wish we had someone in barn to keep him!! Owner is in college so he is ready and looking for his next kid to bring along!
