A great reminder that sometimes it takes teamwork to find lost pet parents!
Reunited in Spring, TX!
"Buddy wandered into our yard while our landscapers were here. When I came home the day that we found him, he was standing at my back door looking for someone to help him. I got Buddy some fresh water and food - he had been on his own for 8 days. His fur was matted and he seemed very hungry. He immediately got comfortable, took a nap, and we continued to give him food, water and a good bath. After checking with our neighbors and finding that nobody recognized Buddy, and because he didn’t have tags, I posted an alert for him on PawBoost.
After tucking Buddy in for bed last night, we got a message from someone that said Buddy looked like their son’s dog. We FaceTimed them this morning and, sure enough, it was their Buddy! They came and retrieved him and Buddy is now back home with his owners. The owners had been looking for Buddy for 8 days, but once I found him, it only took 20 hours to reunite them. Buddy really needed food and water. As a 14 year-old dog, we are fortunate we found him when we did. PawBoost has great communication and the emails and updates were very helpful. Thanks for the help!"
Spread the good news! Thank you to everyone who shared Buddy's alert. Buddy was missing for 8 days before he was finally found by his amazing rescuers. This adorable senior pup and then reunited with his family just 20 hours later!
