One of the ways that clinicians diagnose canine hip dysplasia is to assess by radiography how much the cup of the hip joint (acetabulum) covers the ball of the joint (femur head):


✅ 50%+ coverage = good support

❌ Less than 50% = hip dysplasia alert!

Less coverage will lead to excess motion, which will cause friction and eventually arthritic changes. Talk to your vet practitioner about treatment options, including the K9 HipLign.
