"C" is for Cookie 🍪
Most of us know that feeding dogs "cookies" is Betty Ann's love language, & Bentley the Bernadoodle approves!
So much so that he jumped right up to get his cookie from Betty Ann after his appointment with Dr. Jon.
How adorable is this boy!! 😍

Wishing you all a Happy Easter!
17/04/2025
Easter is a joyous time of celebration & family, and like many holidays, there are every day items & treats that can be very dangerous to you pets.
Here are some things to watch out for:
🍫 Chocolate & Candy: Chocolate and sugar-free candies (especially those containing xylitol) are toxic to pets. Keep all candy well out of reach.
🌷 Lilies (and Tulips, Daffodils & more): These springtime flowers are beautiful, but the they are HIGHLY TOXIC to cats—even just a few bites of leaves or pollen can cause fatal kidney failure. If you have kitties, do not even allow these plants in the house!
🌱 Plastic Easter Grass: This decorative filler can be very tempting for cats but can cause serious digestive blockages if eaten.
🍽️ Table Scraps: Fatty foods & meat bones 🍖 can upset your pet's stomach vomiting, diarrhea & even pancreatitis.
If you suspect your pet has ingested something dangerous, call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center immediately at (888) 426-4435. They are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We want your pets to have a happy & safe holiday!

Did you know?...
🐾In Pennsylvania, dogs & cats age 12 weeks & older are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies.
🐾Rabies is a virus of the central nervous system that can affect any mammal & is widespread throughout Pennsylvania.
Officials with the PA Game Commission say the bear that attacked a man in Jim Thorpe on Sunday has tested positive for rabies.

Don't Forget! Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 am when we will "spring ahead" by setting our clocks ahead one hour.
While it may take us a little while to adjust to the time change, our pets are no different; they may need a little help adapting. So, here are some tips to make the transition smoother for your pets:
🕑Mealtime Strategies: If you are able to, adjust meal times by 10 - 15 minutes 2 - 3 days leading up to the time change to get them prepared for the new time. If your dog or cat is struggling after the time change, consider smaller, more frequent meals. Cats can be more resistant to change. Be patient.
🕑Playtime/Exercise Tweaks: Slightly alter play & walk times to align with the new schedule, & provide extra playtime to burn off any excess energy.
🕑Morning Sun: Expose your pet to natural sun light in the mornings to help reset their circadian rhythms.
🕑Bedtime Rituals: Maintain consistent bedtime routines to signal when it's time to wind down, promoting restful sleep for your pet.
🕑Your pets will adjust with time & patience. By gradually adjusting their routines, providing enrichment & remaining consistent, you can help them navigate Daylight Saving Time with minimal stress & enjoy some extra daylight together.
