Voice for Companion Animals Voice for Companion Animals (VCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based out of Grand Island, NE. We strive to keep pets in their home with their caring owner.

We also have the most amazing pets available for adoption. Voice for Companion Animals (VCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Grand Island, Nebraska. VCA’s mission is to keep pets in their home. We work with seniors, and provide AniMeals, for those on the Meals on Wheels program, and we assist in providing pet food to the local pet food pantry. We are growing and looking for volun

Marshmallow has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She will require a fenced-in in yard at her new home.

Meet Sloth – Your New Best Friend!
Are you looking for a sweet, loving companion who is ready to fill your home with joy? Look no further than Sloth, a 5-year-old, brown and white pit mix who's bursting with personality! He’s neutered, up to date on his shots, and ready to start his next adventure with a loving family.
Sloth is a very friendly and affectionate pup who loves to be around people. While he’s still working on his manners, he’s eager to learn and show you how much he cares. He does well with other dogs when introduced properly, so if you have other furry friends at home, he’s sure to get along with them. He may be a little curious about cats, but hopefully he could be trained to coexist peacefully with them too.
This sweet boy has already been through a lot. He was once on the euthanasia list due to heartworms, but thanks to some rescue friends that knew his potential, he received the treatment he needed and is now heartworm free! He’ll need to remain on heartworm prevention for the rest of his life, but that's a small price to pay for such a wonderful companion.

Really??? REALLY??? 65 days and counting.....and she's about as perfect as they come...good with dogs and puppies and older kids and kids at heart and adults who want to be kids! She eats all her food, keeps a clean kennel, tells us when she has to go do her business outside, and loves peanut butter. What else is there in life??? Someone out there will thank their lucky stars to adopt her? Where are you?? Please share!

We've been talking and posting about Mia....another dog that no one came for after being found in GI.... She's been waiting for visitors and a potential new home. Yes....she's now had her vaccines, spay, deworming and microchip. She keeps a clean kennel....AND gets along with other dogs. Please share...she's had zero apps.... Let's change her luck..... Oh....and yes, those two crazy pups tag teaming Mia are two of the puppies from the well. ♥️
