On November 20th, Precious was shuttled from Santa Fe to Broomfield, Colorado by three RMCR volunteers. Each drove a leg of the trip in their personal vehicles. Our Intake Director took the first leg, our President the next and her foster (me) the last.
In the coming days, we will be posting more pictures and videos of Precious'. And, we will be starting a blog on our website in the next day or so to document her journey.
Her foster has had her less than three weeks and has enjoyed every minute with her.
CUTENESS OVERLOAD! Little Dickens, formerly RMCR’s Dingo, just celebrated his 13th birthday 🥳 and what a party it was! 🥰 Check out the photos and video. Our hearts are melting. 💕 Thank you Tracy K and Heidi K for the pawmazing life you have given sweet Little Dickens.
This little guy came to us from Missouri after his owner had passed away. He was in pretty poor health when he arrived and very underweight. RMCR fab fosters Michelle and her husband took him in and helped him put weight on and settle in. Due to his advanced age and health issues they were planning to adopt him but then Little Dickens’ guardian angels — Tracy and Heidi — appeared online and came to meet him. It was love at first sight and the rest is rescue history. 🙌🏻 #whywerescue

CALLIE'S PUPPIES:
Callie's $13k surgery was successful, but due to the medications, she was unable to feed her 4 purdy babies.
Look at what 21+ days of bottle feeding from our great volunteers have produced.
After experiencing paralysis features in her hind legs, just 8 days after giving birth, the surgery is proving successful. Look at her go!
CALLIE UPDATE:
She has her own little ‘bed’room where she can be closely monitored and safe from obstructions. Six days ago, she couldn’t stand on her hind legs.
She is now regaining her strength and recovering well post-op!
Just one week after delivering 4 gorgeous pups, Callie needed immediate surgery due to a severe herniated disc; her legs weren’t working well. Callie is now getting all the love and physical therapy with our Medical Director.
Her pups are still being bottle fed by quite a few volunteers - and are doing well!
