If you are looking for a place that is Bible based and focused ONLY on the word and will of God come see us. We believe in the word of God as THE only word. We dont subscribe to theatrics, smoke and production (we meet in a barn after all). We are simple, informal and down to earth. We are Christians just looking to grow in our personal relationships with God. We dont do sugar coated church, we study God's word and all that it calls us to do. **NOTE: We will be moving into the tackroom so we can have heat and stay warm (coffee too). Come and see us, we'd love to have you and all are welcome!

Its happy gotcha day for our sweet, precious Faith. You have been with us for 3 years now. You never cease to amaze me. You are the most loving girl, but you have a fierce strength that defies logic. You greet every sunrise with the wonder of a child and in so doing, remind me of what is important. Your kind soul inspires all who meet you and your resilience gives hope to the hopeless. Your name is more than a name, it is what you are! We love you Faith, our precious and fiesty girl.

Hi, friends. Well, it is Wyoming..... we got more snow on the ranch than we expected. So, to be sure everyone stays safe, we'll plan to see you next Sunday. Have a peaceful day and take time to read the word, pray and give thanks. We are thankful for water the snow brings.

This morning was so beautiful. The freezing fog had everthing looking wintery. I decided before chores to take a little walk with my camera. I love mornings that make you stop and reflect. You'll always see things a little differently.

We truly appreciate every single one of you for everything you do for us. We know that without your support, donations, volunteering and encouragement, this wouldn't be possible. To most people, helping out is a part of their world, to these horses, it is their whole world. It's a privilege to do this but it also an honor to do it with all of you. The sky here tonight was very unique one. The colors were almost eerie and haunting as everything had this reddish-yellow tint. As beautiful as it was unique. I'm always amazed!

Being a refuge isnt easy. Last night we had to say goodbye to Jack 2.0. He went down and spiraled quickly. One of our deepest promises to them is to never let their tired old souls suffer. So, we set him free and led him home, surrounded by love. He was a remarkable old man. A personality for days and the coat and spirit of a mammoth. We only shared 8 months with him but they were amazing months filled with laughter, love and treats. This is the part of being a refuge that is hardest but also the most important. Grace and mercy must prevail. Say a little prayer for Jack 2.0 and know he is free now and at peace forever.

Friends, Mel and I want to say a heartfelt thank you! She sold out both days at Cowboy Christmas. That was over 140 dozen cookies, as well as her breads and rolls. It brings my heart joy to see so many people love our cause and our products. To see the pure happiness in Melissa's eyes when she has baked her heart out and then sells out of everything is my early Christmas. Thank you for supporting us and for allowing Mel's amazing baked goods to be a part of your life. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

LAST DAY!! We sold out of Mellie Belle's goodies yesterday, but she baked all night. We will have a limited stock today so come get em. When they are gone, they are gone. This is our last show this year!

Good morning, friends. We are excited, humbled and honored to
share that we have been voted Capital City's Best in the non-profit catagory for 2024. The work we do here is our heartfelt call. To provide a home for these amazing old horses and give them an opportunity to still provide amazing gifts back to our community. Our refuge is small in the big picture but it is everything to us and these sweet horses. Having what we do be appreciated means more than we can say. Come out tomorrow to get started on your christmas shopping. Ladies, I will have a large selection of items for the man in your life including knives, razors and an assortment of shaving supplies. Mellie Belle will be there with all her goodies, but they are limited quantities so get there and get em before they're gone. This is a new venue for this show and we are excited to participate.
