It is a 501c3 with the mission to inspire adolescents with strength, confidence, and purpose through the healing power of Christ and horses. Phew! It’s been a chilly, snowy winter. Despite our continuous snow, ice, then mud, followed by one day of dry before another snow day, we’re making the most of it! 😂
It’s required some creativity, but we’re taking advantage of gravel trails at Rabbit Mountain & Coyote Ridge when the arena is muddy, clinics on horse health when EVERYTHING is muddy, and then arena time when the ground is safe. Gotta love winter! Through it all, I’m so grateful for all of our wonderful students that love the horses as much as we do. 😊💕

We’re all heartbroken to share the news of our beloved lesson horse, Anjel Fyre. She sadly passed away from a very sudden and tragic colic episode yesterday evening on 9/11. 25 years young, Anjel put her heart and soul into teaching students and touched so many lives in the process. She was truly an angel on earth and we’re so grateful that Paul and Sue Raab shared her with us. She will be deeply missed and our barn will never be the same without her.

Charming is one of our very sweet miniature silky fainting bucks, and hopefully more of his kids are due in October! Super exciting!

The lake was filled so high that it invaded our little forest path. Oh well! We make the most of it 😂

At least she didn’t have to kayak after the horses like my last student did when they busted open the gate and swam off to a greener pasture, which is simply a grass “island.” 4 hours of grazing on grass up to their knees wasn’t enough, evidently. Bless their hearts.
