Pampered POMS Rescue This is a page for my rescue.We take dogs, mostly poms that would otherwise be taken to the shelter.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization that provides rescue for dogs & cats who need homes. Primarily for the breed of pomeranians, but occasionally others who need urgent care. We take them, do whatever they need, medical, training, etc, and find the perfect home. We exist solely on donations, and appreciate every dollar we get from caring individuals.The animals stay at our grooming facility until they get adopted.

Penelope and Charming went to the vet today. They did really well. Negative heartworm tests. Got micro chips and rabies vaccines. A little tummy upset the last couple of days, but we think it's due to all the changes and excitement. If you want to be considered for either of them, get your application in quick!

Sibling syndrome. It's a thing. Look it up. It's not a great idea to get two puppies at the same time. Litter mates have more trouble growing up together. Training is harder. They are codependent, and it's not a healthy connection. You may see rescues separate siblings for this reason. And if they are young, the individuals will blossom if they have the appropriate homes apart from one another. Please respect our experience and do your own research if you don't understand this. Also we want each dog to be the "cherished one" in that home. They are healthier and more stable without the sibling.

Not right now, but in a couple weeks, we will be looking for an *"adult only"* home for this guy. He doesn't tolerate kids at all. He needs an experienced adopter. Almost 8 years old. BEAN is adorable but has his issues that an appropriate home would remedy. Kansas city area only.

Please spread the word for this lost dog. Daisy was LOST on January 2, 2025 in Lee's Summit, MO 64081 near SW Benjamin Dr, behind West Hyvee

Message from Owner: Daisy went missing a day before my birthday- she’s been my dog since 2012 and my family and I have been searching for her for the past week. She’s very friendly, energetic and an overall loving dog. Worried someone took her in before the snow storm, and haven’t been able to reach us.

BULLY sticks and Yak chews are so good for control of tartar. And they love them too. If your little dogs struggle with tartar check the diet also. Carbs can make teeth really bad fast. This is Dozer and his friend Charli that's staying with us through the storm.

We have had such great adoptions lately!
We have one more who needs that special home. Dozer is about 5. He is a sweet as the day is long, housetrained, and mannerly. He had to be shaved becuase his hair hadnt been taken care of. It will grow back! He loves big kids and likes cats too. His favorite pass time is stretched out in a warm lap watching a movie with his person!
Kansas City, MO, will do long distance but you must drive here (5 to 7 hours max).

The new girls have come out of their shells. Happy babies!

Attention. Two peke mixes for adoption. A bonded pair. Male and female. About 9 years old. More details soon. Our internet is down so I can't post details right now. They are in the home but need a home together asap.

Update on Mister Sharky. He has picked two of us at the grooming salon to love. He had a family who possibly wanted him, but he didn't trust them after a couple of visits, so that wasn't going to work. He likely needs a one person home with no kids. It took him several weeks to trust us. He hates shoes and was likely kicked. He guarded everything at first and is much better now. I have faith we will find someone. In the meantime, we love him!

Lito is doing really well. He was teaching another pom to play today. SKYLAR was one of the 8 we got from a puppy mill a year ago. She had never played until being in day care with Lito.

Lito got groomed today. He was good once we picked him up. Sweet boy just needs someone who understands him.
