Pampered POMS Rescue This is a page for my rescue.We take dogs, mostly poms that would otherwise be taken to the shelter.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization that provides rescue for dogs & cats who need homes. Primarily for the breed of pomeranians, but occasionally others who need urgent care. We take them, do whatever they need, medical, training, etc, and find the perfect home. We exist solely on donations, and appreciate every dollar we get from caring individuals.The animals stay at our grooming facility until they get adopted.

Tangerine is so much better today. She is eating and even jumped up on "her" chair. I sent a photo of her belly to Dr Kennedy, and she said it looks great. Both incisions are healing nicely with some bruising, which is normal. She will be back to normal soon. Thank you all for your donations and prayers, and support. We could NOT do any of this without YOU!

Well...
It's been a long day. Tangerine did fine through surgery. It's complicated, and I'm not a vet, but it includes a hernia, bladder wall, and ligaments attached to the stump. Long strory short, she did ok and has two very large incisions. It's a good thing she got emergency surgery because she may have gotten worse very quickly. We are so thankful for our vet and for credit cards. Now, we need to get donations to pay it off. And then find her a great home when she heals. I often wondered why she was still here and hadn't gotten adopted yet. Maybe this is why. She needed more medical care. I have her home with me tonight and will get lots of love.
