Pampered POMS Rescue This is a page for my rescue.We take dogs, mostly poms that would otherwise be taken to the shelter.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization that provides rescue for dogs & cats who need homes. Primarily for the breed of pomeranians, but occasionally others who need urgent care. We take them, do whatever they need, medical, training, etc, and find the perfect home. We exist solely on donations, and appreciate every dollar we get from caring individuals.The animals stay at our grooming facility until they get adopted.

We got the sweetest puppy on Saturday. She had been on a free page and went to 3 different people in a week. Finally, she was brought to us.
She is very young and much bigger than we usually take, so after careful evaluation, she was transferred to another rescue. PAWS is a great place. She can be in a daycare with other dogs her own size and age to get that energy out. She will learn manners and how to be a good puppy . She is about a year old and 18 lbs but very thin. Her adult weight should be about 25 or so. POM- CORGI. I called her Porgi.

Quickest adoption ever! Skye had a great adoption application a couple weeks ago when we first advertised her. We got her yesterday. Today she is starting her new life with a retired couple and 2 very playful small dogs. She will have constant supervision and lots of attention. It always amazes me how things line up and work for the good.

Bean got adopted today. He is such a special guy. His previous owners loved him, but it became very obvious he needed a different lifestyle. They made the difficult decision to relinquish him to us. That was a life-saving choice for BEAN. Now he has a home with no kids and an owner who works from home that can give him everything he needs. He will be cherished! I love it when a dog gets to start over. I only had him a little over a week, but he stole my heart. I hope to see you again, little man!

Charming. I like to call him Charlie has been having fun in the yard. Look at those feet. But he is happy! We are so fortunate to have this space with a huge yard and covered deck right outside of the playroom.

Edit. Bean has a great application. Pending pick-up this week. We are looking for an *"adult only"* home for this guy. He doesn't tolerate kids at all. He needs an experienced adopter. Almost 8 years old. BEAN is adorable but has his issues that an appropriate home would remedy. Full of spunk and personality! Kansas city area only. Pamperedpomsrescue.org

PSA BULLY sticks and Yak chews are so good for control of tartar. And they love them too. If your little dogs struggle with tartar check the diet also. Carbs can make teeth really bad fast. This is Dozer and his friend Charli that's staying with us through the storm.

Panda is still here. She is shy at first, but when she finally trusts you, she is full of personality! She needs a fenced yard. She is on meds for seizures, but very stable. If you are interested, fill out an application. Kc MO Pamperedpomsrescue.org

The new girls have come out of their shells. Happy babies!

Attention. Two peke mixes for adoption. A bonded pair. Male and female. About 9 years old. More details soon. Our internet is down so I can't post details right now. They are in the home but need a home together asap.

Update on Mister Sharky. He has picked two of us at the grooming salon to love. He had a family who possibly wanted him, but he didn't trust them after a couple of visits, so that wasn't going to work. He likely needs a one person home with no kids. It took him several weeks to trust us. He hates shoes and was likely kicked. He guarded everything at first and is much better now. I have faith we will find someone. In the meantime, we love him!

Lito is doing really well. He was teaching another pom to play today. SKYLAR was one of the 8 we got from a puppy mill a year ago. She had never played until being in day care with Lito.
