A Memorial To My Sweet Pebbles.
It's with a very, very, very sad heart that I write this memorial. Four weeks ago my beautiful, loving, amazing fur child, Pebbles left this world. After 15 1/2 amazing years together Pebbles kidneys finally gave out. I didn't want her to feel anymore pain and discomfort so it was time to let her go. Its taken me this much time for me to be able to write this memorial.
For me, there will never be another dog that will ever compare to Pebbles. She came into my life as a 8 week old puppy who belonged to my ex-girlfriend. Then Pebbles was about 1 years old I found out the ex was going to get rid of her, so I took her and forever changed my life.
I was able to spent almost every moment of every day with Pebbles. I am self employed so I was able to bring Pebbles to work with me. Pebbles sweet personality and smallness, only 7 lbs, made her very excepted when I went to customer’s, friends and family homes and businesses. I include her in so much of what I did. She was right by my side most all of the time. I rarely put Pebbles on a leash. Pebbles like to explore, thus she had MANY near death experiences and I almost lost her twice. For example, there was the time a car drove over the top of Pebbles at 35 mph with her escaping the situation without any injuries. Then, 3 years ago someone took her and some how she got away and a woman found her, saw one of my lost dog signs and I got her back. Then 2 years ago she had a heart attack and died. I was able to revive her. I would joke with people saying, “Pebbles has more lives then a cat.” This was very true. After all that happened to Pebbles, it was nice that I was with her when she took her last breath.
I even created a pet product which I named after her. Pebbles Furry Friends Breath Freshener and Plaque and Tartar Control.
Our relationship was incredibly unique and when I think about her, it makes me sad that she is gone, but happy that I got to have her in my life. We had an amazing relationship and journey that can never be replicated.
Our physical relationship has come to an end, but the love she had for me and that I feel for her will never end. I will miss you my Sweet Pebbles the rest of my days. ❤️🐶
