Our student Sophia has been working on a very “cool” science project and we just had to share.
Over a trial of several rides with 3 different pads, she was searching for the material that kept the horse’s back the coolest.
We were so impressed with how her project turned out and she went home with an honorable mention at her school’s science fair!

We have two spots on Tuesdays at 5:30pm for new beginner students.

Our semester starts on February 6th and the cost is $300 a month for one weekly lesson.

We have added private beginner lessons to our summer schedule.

There are only 3 spots open, but if you are interested in your young rider starting out with lessons this summer, we are opening this for 5-8 year old with no riding experience. These are 1-hour private lessons in our covered cool arena. Mornings and evenings are available.

Please reach out to us regarding signing up for this 10 week
schedule. We are flexible with vacation plans.

Over these past two years, we have had an overwhelming demand for riding lessons and have tried to figure out how to open our door to new riders. With limited time after school and the restrictions we put on our horse's being worked, it is hard to create more riding spots.
With this in mind, we are going to open up a large amount of beginner lessons this summer in leu of summer camps. We are now offering trial lessons this spring for those interested in joining our riding school. Trial lessons are a requirement of anyone signing up for our semester long programs. These hour long lessons are intended to give you an opportunity to see how we teach and what our program is all about.

These spots are for riders ages 5 and up who are interested in riding lessons at Life in Stride Riding Academy. 🦄 🎄 Looking to gift an experience? 🎄🦄

Holiday Camps are now available for purchase.
Dates are December 27-28th, December 29-30th and January 8-9th. Camps will run from 12pm-3pm both days. Campers will ride daily, learn how to care for their lesson horse and enjoy some horse education games and arts and crafts.
Gift certificates will be mailed out the by December 10th to ensure they make it under the 🎄
Cost is $200 per camper. Email [email protected] to purchase a spot in one of these three camps.

Life in Stride uses horses to build confidence, character and strength for our young riders.

For those of you who are big fans of our lesson horse, Diva, here is a picture of her filly Bradshaw, all grown up! She lives with one of our favorite alumni instructors, Ana Moorhead in Oregon. Bradshaw and her spend most of their time exploring the beautiful trails.

It takes a village to keep our 8 🦄 cared for. Christa Reagan has been our intern since February 2021 and kept our herd fed, watered, blanketed, groomed, all the things…
There are days where she is brushing our retired horses, days where she is scrubbing troughs and then days where she is fitting riders with helmets and helping them saddle horses. We could not operate without her and are SOO thankful for her time with us this year!
Thank you Christa for all you for us. Our horses, specifically T-Bird, appreciate all your love and care!

We decided to open up some spots in next week’s beginner/intermediate camp.
This will be our last camp of the summer and the weather is supposed to be sunny and the horses are ready!

Cost is $325 for the week, M-F, 5:30pm-7:45pm. This is a riding focused camp.

BIG WEEK AHEAD!

We will offer 12 August trial lessons and the signup will be open on Thursday. These are for NEW riders who are interested in lessons. They are 1 hour private lessons where our staff takes you through the whole lesson process and riding session. Cost is $65 and is a requirement prior to signing up for our semester programs.

Barn Days are for our intermediate riders to experience the “joys” of horse ownership! Being an equestrian is much more than riding. It’s about caring for your horses, regardless of the weather, how dirty the job is or what time of day they get sick.
We love the attitude of these students and their desire to work hard.

Our watering hole...
Today, we went on “adventure” trail rides where clues led us to our final destination. (May have included a stash of Capri suns, Oreos and granola for the horses 💗)
There was lots of galloping, going up and down hills, using the compass to find our next turn.
Our intermediate students have worked SOO hard in the arena, that it was time to show off those skills on the land. Loved every minute with them on these fun rides today 🦄
