URGENTLY NEED a SPECIAL FOSTER or ADOPTER for TWO SISTER CATS JUST SURRENDERED to UNITED PAWS

Gizmo & Madison are in need of a quiet secure home where they can adjust to life without their human Mama who died in December. Judi loved her cats dearly, as did her husband, John. Sadly, John is unable to care for their beloved cats due to his own health issues. They affectionately called them "the Girls."

They adopted Gizmo and Madison (Maddie) from United Paws about six years ago, providing a loving home. Sadly, everything changed in 2024 when their humans faced serious health issues, and now these beautiful cats are grieving since the passing of their human Mama. The cats need a quiet loving home without other animals so they can recover from the loss and upheaval they have faced in recent months.

We hope to find a new permanent home for Madison and Gizmo soon. In the meantime, we are looking for a special foster situation. These beautiful long-haired tuxedo cats are bonded, having been together since birth. Gizmo is social and playful once she gets to know you, then she will let you hold and snuggle her. Madison is shyer, but with patience and kindness, she will warm up to you. They are both grieving but will eventually look forward to a new family and more happy times.

KITTENS OF THE WEEK: GABRIEL & LINUS


Meet Gabriel & Linus, the coolest cats at United Paws. These exceptionally loving and gentle brothers are Zen masters, demonstrating a remarkable ability to enjoy one day at a time. They are cool and calm, enjoying every day. If you are working on “staying in the moment,” these two bonded brothers will inspire you!

In their early life, Gabriel and Linus overcame difficult living situation and health issues, and with lots of TLC they have become happy, healthy, 9-month-old cats. Now, they care for rescued foster kittens who find themselves at United Paws’ headquarters.

Gabriel is soulful and strong-spirited. After receiving extra special care, he recovered from some health issues and became the love of his Foster Mama’s life. She said, “Gabriel’s will to live and thrive are inspirational.” Now, this gentle boy loves to be held and snuggled, especially at night.

Linus is a black and gray tabby with a gorgeous, ticked coat that makes him irresistible. He loves playing with all manner of toys as well as wrestling with his brother,, Gabriel. And when playtime is over, he soaks up gentle pets, especially on his soft spotted belly.

Gabriel & Linus were surrendered to United Paws when very young, so they have had lots of tender loving care in a safe environment. This bonded pair is ready to bring lots of loving energy to a forever home. They are neutered, vaccinated, healthy, and ready for adoption.

TOMORROW, JANUARY 25, 2025, United Paws will have a workshop on TRAP-NEUTER-RELEASE (TNR) from 2 to 4pm.at our headquarters, 1108 N. Main , Tillamook, from 2 to 4pm.

Learn about our TNR program and how we humanely trap feral cats, neutered them, and return them to their communities as working cats. We are looking for more trappers to help in Tillamook County. Back in August, our grandson and his new bride adopted the last two of the Fab Four Bro's. Yesterday we got to visit the boys in their loving forever home. You should see them now. They're an easy 10 # each. Silky soft jet black coats with super gold eyes. Shy at first, but after a few minutes they were trying to figure out where they remembered us from. Nice.

KITTENS OF THE WEKK: MOLLY & RICKY

Meet Ricky and Molly, two of the fabulous kittens currently being fostered at United Paws while they await their forever homes. Start the New Year with a new cuddly family member!

Ricky is a social butterfly, friendly and outgoing with every cat and person he meets. Ricky loves to sit in your lap for pets, perch on top of your paperwork while you work, or perhaps even stretch across your warm keyboard. He simply loves to hang out with you, but when the mood strikes, Ricky plays like a ninja fighter! His favorite toys include the spring and wand toy, and since he loves to play with other cats, he would do best in a home with a playmate or two.

Ricky was found by himself as a tiny kitten in a neighborhood. He needed a lot of TLC, but he is now a healthy, happy, energetic kitten who thrives on human interaction! He does great with other cats, and probably gentle dogs and children. He really wants companionship!

If you need a kitten to come into your life and take charge, that would be Molly. She is independent and adventurous, but also loves being with her people. She gets along great with other cats, and gentle dogs.

Molly is curious and enjoys exploring new things, and though she can come off as shy at first, she warms up with wonderful snuggles and she is quick to purr. Molly currently resides in a loving foster home that includes other kittens, dogs and children.

KITTENS of the WEEK: FLAVIA & CASSIUS

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your eyes, and read here the tale of two wonder-kitties, Cassius and Flavia!

Flavia is the wild child, super silly and always ready to play. As the big sister and the largest of her siblings, Flavia takes charge as the first one out the door for playtime and the last one to call it a day. Although she is a little ball of energy, don't let her wild side fool you; she is a total sweetheart. Flavia buzzes with adoration when she is around people and is super cuddly and affectionate.

Cassius is so handsome he belongs on the cover of Cat Vogue! He has a beautiful spotted tabby pattern on a silvery coat and bright green eyes. He is a brave little adventurer, who loves exploring and playing. When Cassius is ready to rest, he will find the highest spot to perch and keep watch like a true protector.

Cassius and Flavia are about 13 weeks old and have been in a loving foster home. They are good with other cats and probably gentle dogs. They are are now ready for their forever home. Could that be you? They are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy bouncing kittens.

GRANT AND RIVER ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME(S). THEY HAVE LOTS OF COMFORT AND JOY TO SHARE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Grant is a strikingly handsome tabby with a distinctive golden-and-brown bullseye coat. Grant comes running for attention when humans enter his orbit. He loves wrestling with his rescue buddy, River, and hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like!

River has beautiful silver-grey stripes and entrancing bluish eyes that look like deep pools of celadon. When he wants to spend time with you, he’ll put his paws on your chest while moving in for kisses. These two 6-month-old cats are bonded; they love to snuggle together and play together. They would make a great pair to adopt but will also do fine individually.

United Paws' Kittens of the Week:
RIVER & GRANT

Grant is a very handsome tabby who sports a distinctive golden-and-brown bullseye coat. We think he's as handsome as that famous actor! Grant is affectionate and seeks out your attention, running to the humans who enter his orbit. He loves wrestling with his rescue buddy, River, and hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like! If Grant wants your love and attention, he'll roll over on his back so you can stroke his beautiful golden belly!

River is a striking tabby with silver-grey stripes and entrancing bluish eyes that look like deep pools of celadon. When he wants to spend time with you, he’ll put his paws on your chest while moving in for kisses. River is interested in exploring new places and playing with other kittens and cats. He gets very excited when he learns about a new toy, especially when his buddy Grant is interested in the same toy. These two kittens are buddies; they peacefully sleep together and play together. They would make a great pair to adopt but will also do fine individually.

A kind-hearted lady in a trailer park where Grant and River were born, was feeding about ten abandoned kittens and cats. She reached out to United Paws and volunteers rescued four of the kittens, including Grant and River. They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and now are ready for their forever home.

Little Lali was brought to United Paws with a broken femur. She was found in a field all alone, unable to walk. United Paws took her to Nehalem Animal Healing where Dr. Matt set her femur with the help of small pins. She’s been in a cast, but that doesn’t slow her down much when she’s wrastling with her playmate Munson! Look how gentle Munson is with Lali😻Munson and his brother Puffy are available for adoption!
