PSA :
Do not purchase cheap heaters online or extension cords at the dollar store They are the highest rate of fire causes in the winter !
Replace your old extension cords, don’t have too many things plugged into a weak extension cord. By quality space heaters don’t look for the cheapest one and plug them directly into an outlet not an extension cord.

Happy new year from our NNN staff and Board.

Many thanks to all of you who have supported us this year with your donations.

We appreciate all of our rescue/shelter partners out there doing the hard work of placing homeless cats and dogs.

Thanks to all of the TNR volunteers out there helping get community cats fixed and vaccinated. Many thanks the elected officials of municipalities who have recognized the need to provide financial support to get these cats fixed and vaccinated for their residents.

In 2023 NNN provided spay neuter surgeries for 14,112 cats and dogs at our 3 locations.

421 pet and feral cats were fixed and vaccinated through our transport program. We have added 2 new locations, Carbondale and Stroudsburg to the rotation which starts in March.

Since 2008, 79,617 feral cats have been fixed and vaccinated at NNN. Check out the Feral Cat financial page to see which municipalities are participating in 2024. A few more may sign up.

NNN cannot provide these services without the tireless and experienced vets, tech staff and scheduling teams. And many thanks to Ashley Seidel, Executive Director who keeps many balls in the air to keep the 3 clinics moving forward!

In a township that is making our organization feel less than welcomed, it is heartwarming to receive this donation from a few of our neighbors to show their support and to help raise funds to continue the appeal process.

The outpouring of support from our community has been unbelievable and beyond any of our expectations. After the meeting last week it was disheartening to say the least, many of our team felt defeated, unheard, and lost a lot of faith in our township. The next morning many of you started to voice your opinions on the North Whitehall Township page, on your personal pages, many of you called us, texted us, messaged us. The Go Fund Me page https://gofund.me/7a86ee3e is truly amazing and will help us beyond words begin the appeal process to the next level, and keep this fight going.

I can NOT stress this enough - LET THIS SINK IN !

If the place you’re renting doesn’t allow cats - find another place that does.

If your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn’t like your cat - find another boyfriend or girlfriend.

If you’re moving out of state - be as loyal to your cat as he has been to you. Take him along with you.

If you’re not willing to commit to a cat for ALL of his life - DON’T GET A CAT!

If you STILL refuse to make it work - have the decency to reach out to a reputable rescue to intake your family .. their life depends on it. Literally. 😐

I’ve been getting SO MANY messages and calls in regards to current veternarian pricing for Spay services. Anywhere from $375-425 for a Spay with pain meds
Costs are on the rise everywhere as we’re “building back better” and ANIMALS are being dumped left and right.
Attached are some options other than StCats at NayAug…
NO nonsense neutering in Plains has spots in January & February open for PETS and well as Dr Farrs private practice in Clifford.

HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED !!!! True Friends called me to tell me he’s been adopted and is heading to his new home TODAY!!!!!

They call him Mr Lahey, he's an adoption through Friends in Montrose and he has resided in a cage at Pet Supplies Plus since JULY. Over the past 11 weeks I've pet him and held him briefly while he was out. He's a KIND and lovable kitten who has grown up in a 2’ square BOX
If you're considering a new family friend Let me know I will Cover his food & litter and will supply a nice litter box too!
I feel he'd do GREAT in an adult home with big windows to bird watch. He LOVES catnip and catching toys

I have two - single cat shelters for people in NEED
These must be kept in a COVERED AREA-on a covered porch or under a deck etc,They are not waterproof. They are lightly insulated and filled with fresh straw.
Waterproof containers can be made upon request. Two additional foam shelters will be done Wednesday
