🐛 There are lots of natural remedies that will get rid of worms in dogs, and it's always a good idea to use several together. Digestive enzymes and carrots are an example of perfect partners in the battle against worms.

Digestive enzymes mainly come from your dog’s pancreas. As food travels through your dog’s small intestine, the pancreas releases digestive enzymes. They break down food so your dog’s body can absorb the nutrients.

But when your dog has worms, he needs an extra boost from enzyme-rich food or a digestive enzyme supplement.

Worms are protein, and some digestive enzymes break down protein ... so look for digestive enzymes with proteolytic enzymes including these:

✅ Papain
Papain is the enzyme in papaya that digests proteins. In fact, papain is used as a meat tenderizer … so that tells you it can break down meat!

✅ Bromelain
Bromelain comes from pineapple, and breaks down protein.

✅ Betaine HCL
