UPDATE 10/17/24: The rest of the kittens have done very well throughout their treatments. The older litter (DOB 6/8/24) was posted for adoption last night. Souvlaki was already adopted, which leaves Moussaka, Baklava, Dolmades & Tzatziki. They are incredibly sweet! The younger litter will post for adoption shortly. Their eyes look amazing from where we started! A few just have a little bit further to go with recovery. THANK YOU ALL for your SUPPORT!

UPDATE 9/26/24: Sadly, we lost sweet little "Apple" early this morning. He was the grey tabby boy and one of the weaker kittens. He had been showing such great progress, but his body gave out in the wee hours. We are heartbroken.

Candy Corn's right eye was urgently removed yesterday (and thanks to the vet team who made this happen!). He (orange tabby boy) is feeling much better!

Treat is still at risk of losing one or both eyes. She (tiny black smoke girl) is getting great care, but time will tell. We have a tentative eye enucleation surgery date of 10/2/24.

All kittens are on amoxicillin-clavunate potassium suspension (brand name Clavamox®), most are on erythromycin eye ointment, and several are getting serum in their eyes as well. Some are showing great improvement, others still have a ways to go.

Initial Intake 9/22/24: Calling all cat supporters! We recently jumped in deep to save another cat colony. Often, we do this quietly behind the scenes. We’re fairly tapped out financially & this group needs a lot of support. It’s 21 total, but 3 to 4 adults are already pregnant again. 😩

We treated & pulled 16 kittens today. They got the works! They are now in foster care in quarantine. One group of 5 born 6/8/24 is healthier & will hopefully be up for adoption very soon (we chose Greek food names as their foster names - Moussaka, Baklava, Tzatziki, Souvlaki, & Dolmades 😻).

The younger group of 11 was born 7/9/24. They’re pitiful. Sadly, one died before we were contacted. Several have severe eye issues that will be evaluated by vets asap.

We need funds, kitten food, litter (see our Chewy wish list), & adopters as soon as they’re ready so we can get the adults & new litters in next.

Swiss Roll is a sweet girl who's looking to find a forever family either as a single bunny, or with her sister, or to bond with another rabbit. Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, on flea/mite/heartworm prevention.

Swiss Roll was bonded to her sister, Pound Cake, and they were adopted out together for 10 months. The family returned them due to being allergic to hay or rabbits (most likely hay). When these 2 sisters went back into foster care, they began to fight. This can happen with stress. They are fine together when supervised, but get into a tiff when unsupervised.

We are attempting to rebond them, but this could be sibling rivalry and they simply may never be good alone together again. For this reason, these girls are up for adoption separately or together if the adopter understands they may only be able to do supervised play dates.

So many pets urgently needing rescue - foster or adoption. This girl is fabulous, but it makes little difference now - her time is almost out! :(
