Meet Foster Stanley at our Meet and Greet this Sunday, noon - 2, at our Roosevelt Mud Bay Meet and Greet August 4th. Chat with Stanley's foster parent to learn more about him! Mud Bay is located in Roosevelt Square.

Here's what we learned about Stanley from his Australian foster family:
Stanley has not shown much interest in small dogs and he regularly interacts with other Greyhounds. He can get quite excited, though, and will still need slow, gradual introductions to any new dogs or potential doggie housemates.

He may be 5 years old, but Stanley still loves toys and having a good play. So he'd love a yard to roam around and be able to go on walks with his new family.

Stanley can be strong on his lead to start ("I'm going on a walk! I'm going on walk! Oh my gosh we're walking!"),but he settles quickly.

Stanley has spent time living inside, however he is a bit of a piddle-pot, the poor dear. So he will either need access to outside, or be taken out on toilet breaks regularly.

Look who is being fostered in the Seattle area, Sam!

Loving and friendly boy. He might lay in the street if you stop and chat with someone for too long. Excellent with other dogs, and very gentle with a small Italian Greyhound that he met. He regularly interacts with other Greyhounds and Border Collies, but would still need slow, gradual introductions to any new dogs. Sam is very relaxed with kids 10 and up. He can already do stairs.

Lennie is a 6 year old black tall and lanky boy who is naturally gentle and soft in nature and loves human interaction. He is playful and interactive, gentle on lead and does well with medium/large breeds.

Draya is a 4.5 year old black female and is an outgoing, happy, friendly girl that will give you a smile in greeting. She's not safe with smaller pets because of her great enthusiasm. She's also a bit chunky, and will need some activity to help with it!

New monthly meet and greet in Seattle! Come check out the hounds every first Sunday of the month at the Roosevelt Mud Bay (near the Whole Foods).

Meet and greets are great ways to meet greyhounds, socialize your dogs to greyhounds, learn about the breed, pick up a foster or adoption application, and generally enjoy these beautiful dogs.

When we have adoptable dogs in the area, they come, too. This could be your meet-cute!
