Dr. Katie Hilst started Hilst Housecall Veterinary Service in 2008 to serve the pets she loves and their people. Dr. Laura Purdy and Dr. Christine Nelson joined ownership of Journeys Home, all with a goal to educate families and assist pets

"Porter wasn’t even supposed to be ours since there were several applications ahead of us at his rescue. As fate would have it, the other applications fell through and we picked up our boy on New Year’s Eve 2013!

He taught us so many things, including how to be gentle with yourself and others. He taught us to love beyond measure and how to appreciate the small things."
