Meet Peach, a six-months-old Golden Retriever.
Peach is staying with us for a few weeks of boarding with training in her preparation to become a service dog for her mom.

Peach has a story. Her family did their best to follow a dog trainer’s directions whom they hired for service dog training. A few months down the training they realized that something is not going right.

Unfortunately a dog training company failed to coach the family how to socialize Peach properly and did not provide an adequate training.

Luckily, Peach is with us now. She is very shy and insecure and we need to build a lot of her confidence. The training is coming along great! We have started taking Peach to public places to socialize and desensitize from loud noises.

We are looking forward to helping Peach’s family to achieve training results that they need!

Congratulations to Kailyn and Logan with Titan for graduating from the Advanced Obedience training course! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Titan needed help with walking nicely on the leash and paying attention to his masters. He was also extremely reactive to dogs. Titan would lunge at the his car window and bark viciously if he saw a dog passing.

Today Titan is a different dog! He was sailing through the group class without paying attention to anything but his handlers!

Meet Ellie, the beautiful 2 year old Australian Shepherd.

Ellie was struggling with her emotions when seeing other dogs. She barks and growls and jumps at the other dogs. Her shepherd instinct makes her feel nervous and territorial when meeting new dogs.

We often hear a question from our clients if their dog should always be walking at a “heel position” without leaving the owner’s side?

Absolutely not, but the decision for a dog to leave the side must be communicated by an owner and not to be made by a dog. In other words, when the time and place is right for an owner, they communicate it to their dog to leave the side to do some doggie business.
